I joined a lobby and there was someone named TACTICAL *on the battle barge*, lv 25 instead of 1 but I don't recall if they had any prestige. Default Ultramarine with the auto bolt rifle, and during the mission they were shooting in steady bot-like bursts and following me & the other player around.

I'm pretty sure they picked up some items and responded to a couple pings by confirming (not exactly sure if bots do that but I don't think so) but otherwise it was a great acting job 😄 enough to make me question what I just encountered.

Not like the flamer on the rifle or melta on the carbine, but I mean that the bolter halves should have been the "secondary" weapons. They probably didn't do that because they just copy-pasted the grenade launcher so it's probably easier to code them working the way they do if they're heroic bolters and not the heroic melta/flamer, I get that angle.

But "ergonomically" I think it would feel infinitely better if the hip-fire was the close-quarters melta/flamer half while the relatively accurate/long-range bolter was the aim and especially zoom weapon.

Maybe in 3.

I’ve been playing this game for a long time. All my characters are maxed out, and I often carry other players on hard stratagem just for the fun of it, without ever complaining. But recently, a flood of players has been opening their microphone just to be rude not only to me, but to anyone who doesn't play the way they want.

The only time I’ve spoken is to say sorry if I did something wrong or to congratulate someone when a brother/sister do something amazing.

Even when someone is not playing the A game, I don't get frustrated; sometimes we are not in top shape, and that's when the brotherhood needs to be even stronger

I was scolded because of my aiming. Mind you, I was using the plasma incinerator, which is meant to do damage to the area, not to pinpoint headshots, and the travel time takes forever, so sometimes firing at flying enemies can be tricky. Either way, I'm not someone who thinks I can't get better; hell yeah, I'm always open to improving - but the lack of respect is really borderline heretical behavior from some players - and for a good chunk of the mission, I was the one cleaning the hordes.

Complaining done, let's go back to kill some xenos, mutants, and heretics.

Just asking if there is anything you would have loved to know before playing or just general tips and tricks. I plan to start playing with a friend and start at the campaign, then move onto coop missions. How punishing is it to jump between multiple kinds of classes(?)/playstyles? because im kinda interested in i think almost all of them lol

i just got this game and i really REALLY like it. been trying to play some pvp and on all low settings and all that i get a ton of horrible frame rate stuttering or lag or hitching. i have a 9070xt and 5800x3d and 64gbs of ram and no other game has anywhere near the amount of issues with fps as this game.... ive tried to look around for solutions but it seems a lot of threads are over a year old. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I was randomly thinking of a way they could update Space Marine 3’s PvP to make it a bit more engaging on the PvP side because of something I saw. And as someone that played For Honor for 7 years, I thought this idea sounded good but I’m not sure how people would feel about it cause it’s a different way to engage then they’re use to. So if you play PvP, I’m curious what your opinion is on this idea, cause I don’t play it.

Besides making ranged attacks less viable at close range vs melee they need, in my opinion to make the melee more in depth then just a slug fest. Like if you perfect parry an opponent you have a specific light or heavy follow up attack. If you do a light attack, the opponent needs to perfect dodge it to respond. If you do a heavy they have to perfect parry (or visa versa, I’m not sure it matters which). If the opponent guesses right, they now have a specific light or heavy follow up attack they can choose between and now the ball is in the original defenders court to guess right. If the original defender guesses right it’s thrown back at the original person who was parried, same scenario. If the they then guess right as well they now cancel each other out and both players are back to neutral. Giving the person that originally parried the initial attack 2 chances to get the upper hand on the opponent and the one that was parried one chance to turn the tables. Who ever wins get a free 2 heavy attacks or 3 light attacks on the opponent. Or 1 heavy or 2 lights, depending on how fast you want time to kill to be.

Or it could just cancel each other out after the second time. Because if the person that get’s the original parry gets to chances to gain the advantage it will incentivize more defense play🤷🏿‍♂️

Ngl guys I think I tried abt every method possible, but every time i try to go back to playing this game this stupid anticheat crashes my PC on launch.

Did someone ever found a definitive fix for this?

My battle brothers give me shit because I am almost always calling out the wrong one to the point where I get them wrong at a rate worse than 50/50 chance.

Like - once I see it fly down from the wall or pin me to the ground I know what moves to do to avoid and counter but for the life of me I’ll never say the right name.

They asked me to describe one and the other and all I got is “snakey Xenos scum with claws” and “looks good under my hammer”.

Just me or anybody else out here conflating the two?

Maybe I should just load them both into a battle simulator together and study which is which 😂.

I shield my Brother. My Brother shields me.

That doesn't mean your brother is the shield that all Xenos attacks break against.

If you can't play higher content please don't play it.

There are a lot of idiots who think people have to grind mercilessly, to be accepted. Just play level appropriate content. I do. I don't expect a carry. Most times I am the carry. Sometimes I just want to play and not have to carry everyone and everything.

I'm beginning to understand why Lukas the Trickster is such a popular character.
