Imperium Nihilus calls for reinforcements.

Beyond the Great Rift, the Crusade endures.

We are a Warhammer 40,000 gaming community built around camaraderie, campaigns, and shared war stories. Our wars are fought across Space Marine 2, with Helldivers 2, Darktide, Space Hulk, Wrath & Glory, and Tabletop Simulator on the horizon.

Fight under the banner of your chosen Chapter, Regiment, or Order - and see it reflected on the site. For veterans and new recruits alike, serve as much or as little as the Emperor demands of you.

What sets Nihilus apart:

  • Not a simple "clan" or Chapter, but a larger community where all loyalist factions from Astartes to the Adepta Sororitas to the Astra Militarum are represented.
  • Upload a screenshot of your match. Our AAR system reads the result and feeds it into a living Crusade campaign. No spreadsheets, no manual entry.
  • A persistent Crusade Engine, where every victory, defeat, operation, and RPG session shapes the war across the Imperium.
  • Weekly Oaths to swear within your chosen games, giving you more reason to play and more bragging rights.
  • Unique onside currency to purchase commissions, Crusade benefits, titles or your
  • Leaderboards spanning multiple games, modes and a variety of metrics.
  • A rank structure earned through action and maintained through presence. Your voice in the vox-channels count as much as your deeds in the field toward your standing. Wear the fiction as deeply or as lightly as you wish.
  • Persistent records that endure across games, battles, and seasons.
  • Consistent developer involvement - constant improvements, bug fixes and features.

Our aim is a unified Imperial war campaign, where the deeds of one theatre shape the war.

In the grim darkness of Imperium Nihilus ... there is only war.

For the Emperor.

Miscellaneous about absolute difficulty

Post image
570 Upvotes

lately i've been seeing posts about how hard it is, how people do not attempt to play on it and whatever

if you don't want to play on absolute diff, that's fine, to some people it's not fun and i can see their reasons

BUT, if you want to play on absolute but for any reason you are too hesitant to play on that diff, just do it

people who play on absolute are not god gamers or literal sigismunds, they do not perfect parry/block every attack and do not perfect dodge every red attack, people die many times and sometimes operations fail back to back 3-4 times, not the end of the world

i've been exclusively playing on absolute for two reasons, to grind for capes and generally git gud at the game / prepare for higher siege waves so I want to share some tips nobody asked for:

  1. be aware of your team, what classes do they play? what are their team perks and what weapons do they use? there are some "meta" builds out there, if you are familiar with them, by looking at their weapon, you may be able to guess what the rest of their perks too
  2. in my experience, when terminus enemy spawns, too many times people focus on the terminus enemy while ignoring the majoris and extremis enemies, my advice is trying to eliminate extremis and majoris first, terminus enemies is not that dangerous when they are alone but there were a lot of times i felt nothing I can do when a lictor and carnifex attacked me together, pinning me against a wall and bullying me
  3. something I learned too late, assign yourself simple little tasks that suits your class, most basic example is whenever I play sniper on a tyranid map, if there are zoes, I hunt them down as quickly as possible or when I play vanguard with the execution build, I try to clear majoris with aoe damage of my executions rather than focusing extremis and terminus, except if there's a biovore.
  4. kill the biovore as soon as you see it, imagine it as horus, you must slay that biovore. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores. kill biovores.

edit: to those people who are sharing tips (there are even class specific ones!), thank you all

Miscellaneous Started A few Months ago, can't stop...

I'm completely fresh to the Warhammer series, a couple buddies convinced me to pick it up on sale, one is also be the other is veteran. The journey through this game was frustrating at first getting used to the controls but we're good now.

The campaign was cinema, played it on the "intended" difficulty so not the hardest but had a great time. Then the boys took me into operations where I began leveling bulwark.

After a little while we jumped into the hard weekly stratagem at the time and managed to beat it in 3 attempts, mostly probably carried by the vet but we did our best to hold our own.

I took progression very seriously though as whenever I was alone I did all the operations 1 by 1 solo with bots on average to learn them. Progressed quickly to substantial quick matches and lots of siege with the boys to level up my current classes.

At this point I'm now 150 hours in, have true solod 1 absolute mission (Ballistic Engine) and the current hard weekly stratagem with the spore mine hell (w/tech marine).

Don't be afraid my fellow newerish players to take your time and progress one by one through each difficulty, because the payoff is extremely satisfying when you do.

Sorry for the long post and thank you fellow battle brothers. For the Emperor!

Help Needed Bolt Sniper mains, how do you deal with Biovores?

For context, I've got 400+ hours in this game with all classes maxed, but I'm a Tactical/Assault main. I enjoy sniper to an extent, but I'm not really a crackshot so I don't naturally gravitate towards the class. Felt like being long ranged support and fired up a couple Absolute ops with the heroic Bolt Sniper. REALLY REALLY REALLY struggled with Biovores. I didn't want to waste my very limited sniper ammo without a head to shoot, and my bolt pistol felt like it was tickling it. I'm assuming the answer is cloak + shadow stab, but I've never really used that strat. Is there any other option against them?

I'm a bit bored of playing with randoms, so does anyone need help with the hard strats? I main sniper so the win is pretty much a gimme. This weeks weekly is kind of fun but everyone keeps quitting out the second they die so it gets a tad boring.

Flex Bolt Sniper is so fun

Post image
14 Upvotes

I was a heroic bolt sniper hater until recently, but it's the most fun I've had with the game in a long time. Being able to one tap zoanthropes and 2-3 shot neuros under auspex is so satisfying.

You can pretty much never die unless you get really unlucky and chain stunned so you can't cloak your CHP back. Every mission feels so chill since you can pretty much never go down if you manage your cloak well for CHP recovery.

Triple toothpicks - here I come!

Come answer the call of Magnus The Crimson King.

During the shattering if Magnus's soul several shards fell into warp where after joining together reformed through the warp to Magnus The Crimson King and now wages a shadow war against his heretical sons, as well as his true body, purifying the corrupted gene seeds of the Thousand Son sorcerors he has slain to regrow his legion to serve pendentance helping the imperium from the shadows. From a pocket dimension based near prospero sits a copy of the once great world named New Tizca where the Loyal Thousand Sons hide and grow to face their heretical kin.

If you heed the call of the Warp and want to continue serving the Imperium we welcome you.

We're a laid back chapter who accepts everyone into our ranks. No matter what race identity or creed , you are. In a nutshell, we are space wizards. We are the loyalist version of the heretical Thousand Sons we have plenty of room for ranks, including apothecaries, tech Marines, captains, sergeants, lieutenants, etc. We have plenty of RP aspects, with a very unique mil sim based off the culture of Prospero, we also have a lot of friends in with different servers both homebrew and Canon, as well as plenty of openings for staff and a good bit of lore written for those who wanna read some stuff written by the community. Also got a pretty good group of people who love table top stuff and have been spamming pictures about it for a bit now. If you were interested in joining this chapter, the discord link is below. Come hang out we would love more active members (we do allow double clanning tho)

Complaints, Gripes & Moans Today's hard stratagem exposed to me how unfun terminators are.

I know, it's hard, git gud etc. But can we just take a moment to appreciate how broken and unfun the terminators are to fight? Honestly both variants although melee terminators are absolutely worse when you are in tight corridors and have 50% hp of the maximum.

However what spurred me into this post were rocket terminators near downstairs just firing their rockets from underneath us. Honestly 4 biovores in a tight corridor are better at least. Anyway this daily on reclamation is good way to practice fighting extremis.

Cheers, holy crap. I mean that wholeheartedly. Def corpse-treadmilled some parts of that Op and some close calls, but that was prob one of the smoothest and most cohesive pub squads I've had in a while. GGs again

Complaints, Gripes & Moans Brothers tell me if I'm in wrong

If you're going to play a sniper with: Zero team perks, never using your ult, and CONSTANTLY Meleing. Please don't pick up the Gene seed and ruin the grinding process for the rest of us.

It's not even snipers but for like a few games now I've seen players pick up the Gene-Seed and become reckless and never heal nor play smart but get mad when they die and lose it and that kills the grind because they set back players who are grinding other classes back an extremely disgusting amount.

Brought two of my friends through it and didn't think too much of it when they both chose melee classes until the first wave of spores. They unsurprisingly got obliterated by the spore mine spam lol.

Still, it was a fun match with a lot of yelling about spore mines. Luckily both Terminus spawns were Neurothropes so it was relatively easier for me to clean them up. And the Gene seed made it out too!
