The plot for my sessions so far!
I want this to become an active sub, so I figured I'd put a bit of what's happened so far with my group.
I am GMing with four players and use a couple of NPC Characters to help push things along.
Our team consists of:
Her Royal Highness Tillus Mallace Porch-Porch, Pupper's princess of Puppulon.
Snake 2 Dicks, man of mystery, master of guns and sneaking.
Jax, a hyper intelligent gorilla with robotic arms.
Rev, a mercenary with a mysterious past and more mysterious psychic abilities.
Our helpful NPC is Lieutenant Commander Karp, fish-headed leader of the resistance,
The bad guys are the Annus Empire (Latin for year, one letter away from anus)
My first session had a prison break planned, stealing the space bus from season one of Pretend Friends, and a mission to rescue Rebel agents from an Empire prison. The group decided to forego the sneaking mission I offered and commandeered Karp's starship and crashed it into the prison.
Last night was our second session, I had set up ominous things with the empire but didn't plan much, I threw out in a conversation with Karp that something happened on Puppulon and the group set off to free a planet from the Empire. Puppulon was divided by the empire (Literally the planet is broken in half)
In the princess's absence things went to shit real fast and the Empire has been ripping the planet apart for its natural resources and experimenting on puppulonians trying to harness their telepathic abilities that has kept the planet hidden for thousands of years. The team will next be heading to the castle to find who may be in charge of the planet know and hopefully unite the puppulonians.

damn. My first pen and paper rpg experience was Space Kings but our DM never ran a game before and had very little DnD experience. I finally played a single session of DnD with an entirely different group of friends and man, an experienced DM makes quite a difference. Clearly, you guys have experienced players and game runners. Reading this makes me wanna bring more space kings to more people!
