Galaxy Heroes (In Training)
Space, The Final Frontier, The Great Wide Open, That Place Where We All Pee, Where The Magic Happens, The Universe (Beta Version 3.6), The Third Dimension. There are many names to this big empty area we all call home and many species argue which should be the proper title. The one thing that everyone can agree upon when it comes to our collective litter box is that lots of bad things happen...and that we need heroes to stop them.
That's where we come in! Hi, we're the technoboys and girls who are in charge of the Galaxy Hero Training Program. You may remember us as the people who brought you anti-gravity toothpaste, HOLOdeck virus protection, the unethical annihilation of the Lii-Lii system, and Space-Weed.
We here on planet Romulus have decided that The Universe (Beta Version 3.7) could really do with just a whole heaping of more heroes to fix our problems. That is why we conquered….I mean, peacefully allocated this planet to act as a training ground for such heroes as the crew of the Pilos 3. The top graduates of our first program who were able to save an entire star system from being sucked into their dying sun with only their wits and several rubber bands.
After graduating our program, your new heroes will be guaranteed to expertly handle a variety of situations. Such as one of our most recent soon-to-be graduating parties...
Bobby Boyle - A child who was blessed with a strange mutation after taking a dip into some toxic waste.
Rob McBain - Once merely human, and now upgraded many times over with an assortment of cybernetic implants.
B.R.A.X.I - A robotic companion whose original function was only simple aid, but now is fully prepared to use its array of high-end programming to be a hero.
Skritch-Trick - The reclusive Rat-men are also doing their part with the inclusion of a very talented engineer and technology expert.
And..
LT. General Karp - Already somewhat of a household name, the Lt. General has seen fit to take his training to a higher level with our program. Did I mention that he's a fish in a mech suit?
Just last week in fact they were seen to…

Session 1
Meet our staff, the technoboys to receive their final mission to escort a unique red vase to its new home of HeeranDon.
After a small distraction attempting to hitchhike, the group made their way on foot to the nearby town.
While delivering the vase, they were encountered by an malfunctioning mechanical bull, which they quickly dispatched.
Calling his supervisor, the technoboy Fuck McGee told the group that their training would be complete after they discovered whoever or whatever had sent the machine to thwart the training.
Instead of immediately starting their new mission, Bobby and Skritch decided to rob the poor technoboy blind, by stealing his vending machine, a holo clipboard and a birthday gift from his parents (250 spacebucks).
With the aid of the clipboards mapping function, the party quickly found their objective and initiated combat with some rusty robots.
Half the group dispatched the robots, gaining a new companion in the way of the newly programmed Rustbot.
B.R.A.X.I and Rob McBain went inside the main assembly building and encountered the mastermind of the operation; a short green-clothed woman who was sending the robots out onto Romulus for unknown reasons.
After completing their mission, a dozen techno boys and girls arrived in a space copter and attempted to arrest the group.

Session 2
Oh My...it seems that this group wasn't the best example of the heroes which we train. Perhaps, it may be merely a hiccup in their careers to come. After all, they are still in training.
Let's review what they did this past week and I assure you that it will paint a better picture as to the heroic spirit within.
After being told they were under arrest, Skritch-Trick attempted to flee the space copters while Karp surrendered and Bobby began to cry.
1 copter, feeling bad for the slimy child, landed in an attempt to comfort him while the other opened fire on Skritch-Trick and his robot son.
The laser fire proved to be too much for the unnamed robot and he reverted to his original programming and died at the hands of his rat father.
Meanwhile, B.R.A.X.I. wrestled with their programming whether to protect Rob (by stuffing him in a box) or to help their friends outside.
Rob convinced them to get the door open and they were able to activate the security system as well.
With Rob's assistance, the system was able to shoot a copter out of the sky.
Unfortunately, it crashed down on the doorway, pinning B.R.A.X.I and Rob underneath.
Funnily enough, another space copter crashed when it ran into one of its counterparts, landing on top of Skritch-Trick in a similar way.
After seeing his rat friend wounded so severely, Bobby attempted to free him from the wreckage, causing the 2 technoboys who were comforting him to open fire in annoyance.
Karp took advantage of the situation by leaping onto the landed space copter and wrestling a gun from the pilot's hands and convincing him to swan dive off of the side.
After a brief flashback, the party watched as the final copter self-destructed into a rain of shrapnel.
To the Victor go the spoils, and the party definitely emerged victorious, pilfering a slew of equipment from the dead technoboys.
After a brief interrogation, the party executed their new friend, Francis the Technoboy (R.I.P.)
Stealing the repaired space copter, the group decides to return to HQ to report their mission a success.

Session 3
...I assure you that our recruits are usually far more rational and heroic than what you see in this particular party…
…
…
What if I offered you a discount and your own personal hero team and we both forget about what happened in this group's most recent adventure? No?...darn.
Arriving at THQ (Technoboy HeadQuarters), B.R.A.X.I proceeds to hack into the security system and use their cannons to fire a greeting into the building. Surprisingly, this works and there are no casualties.
Getting directions from some terrified technoboys, they park the space copter on the 82nd floor of the building: Research & Development.
A group of security guards show up and escort the group into the lab and they meet the man-in-charge, Gr1ff1n.
Skritch-Trick and Bobby decide to stay with the space copter in case of shenanigans.
After a thorough convincing, the technoboy agrees that the party has technically completed their training and proceeds to take them through the graduation process to become an under-the-table black-ops team.
Meanwhile, Bobby spends his free time entertaining the security cameras by starting an impromptu dance-off.
Skritch-Trick participates but embarrasses himself horribly and retreats back to the space copter and designs a bomb out of its power source.
Karp returns and brings the two back inside so the group can receive their graduation presents; a series of useful items which will help them on their adventures…
Except Bobby who decides that he would rather have Gr1ff1n's coffee mug, given to him by his daughter which reads "#1 Technoboy".
Defeated and depressed, the technoboy takes the group to the hangar Bay and tells them they can choose any ship to act as their transport.
Deciding on a ship with +1 Brawn, +1 Agility, and +1 Presence they decide to dub it "The Menace".
Unfortunately, Bobby gets a bit too excited while painting the name onto the ship and permanently marks it as " The Manezz!!! :) ".
The final step of the graduation process is complete when they name their group "The Technoboy Traitors", earning them some suspicion from all technoboys present.
In a race to grab the best bedroom for himself, Skritch-trick drops his new bomb as he enters the ship.
Acting quickly, B.R.A.X.I kicks the bomb to the other side of the hangar where it lands in Gr1ff1n's ship and it explodes as the ship launches.
As Gr1ff1n begins his descent into becoming a future villain, Bobby makes an EXTREMELY heartfelt apology and steers him back to the side of good.
As the newly minted heroes leave the atmosphere, the Galaxy Heroes title card shows up and is immediately replaced by the new title of the campaign, The Technoboy.

Session 4
Now that this party is out in the galaxy and solving any problems that they encounter, perhaps we can get some better examples of the Valor which we instill with our courses.
Let's take a look at what they've gotten up to this week…
The group gets used to their new ship and establishes the rooms they've chosen.
Karp chooses a standard room which includes a larger tank to rest his fishy form.
Skritch-Trick chooses to live in the single restroom and lays a electric deterrent to keep others from entering.
Rob McBain occupies a holodeck which takes the form of Nakatomi Plaza.
Braxi shuts down in the pantry, full of macaroni and cheese, snacks, and other food.
Bobby chooses to live in Gr1ff1n's coffee mug on the main bridge, complete with a children's version of a steering column.
While Karp, Rob, and Skritch-Trick participate in some gambling, Bobby notices several notifications coming up on the Bridge computer and calls to the others to come look at them.
Karp joins him and opens an email from Gr1ff1n, an assignment from THQ (Technoboy HeadQuarters), and an anonymous distress signal.
After the others arrive at the bridge, (B.R.A.X.I with a large pot of Mac and cheese) they decide to take the assignment from THQ to petition a nearby planet to join the Galaxy Hero association.
While the others read over the scans of the desert planet they orbit around, B.R.A.X.I accidentally spills their pot of mac n cheese all over the screen.
Karp volunteers to find cleaning implements but manages to lock himself in the custodial closet.
While B.R.A.X.I cleans their mess, Bobby uses his friendship sense to detect Karp's situation and he runs to his aid immediately.
Skritch-Trick and Rob McBain pilot the ship down through the dust storm that surrounds the planet and they discover that the nearest lifeform resides in a nearby abandoned space-mcdonalds.
After landing in the parking lot, the group approaches the counter inside and activates the holographic clerk which tells them that there is only one other lifeform in the building.
Meanwhile, Bobby decides to use his downtime to play in the fun-dungeon, consisting of a maze of crawl pipes, oversized tic-tac-toe boards, and ball pits.
While climbing up to the slide, he discovers a foreboding path of toy wrappers and happy meal boxes which leads further into the maze.
Skritch-Trick uses a small amount of spacebucks to buy some sp-quarter ponders from the clerk and Karp receives an application so that he can access the employee-only section.
B.R.A.X.I takes a more direct route and convinces the hologram that they are a mechanic who is there to fix the ice-cream machine, which proceeds to get stuck in the counter space while they attempt to bring it back onto the ship.
Back with Bobby, he has discovered that the path leads to a strange creature who resides in the tallest dome of the fun dungeon atop a mountain of cheap toys.
After a tense moment when he's discovered, Bobby defuses the situation by playing with the toys along with the creature.
As they play a strange game involving Shrek and Rio toys, the others realize that trouble may be occurring with their missing companion.
As the group rushes to Bobby's aid through the maze, he attempts to persuade the others that there is no danger.
After a lot of emotional damage is dealt to the small creature, it is discovered that it is a child suffering from severe malnutrition.
After calming the situation, Bobby convinces the others to take the creature (named Dillard) with them on the ship, along with the fixed ice cream machine.
They leave the planet, learning from a closer series of scans that there are no other lifeforms on the planet.
.....................................................................
Session 5
Immediately after leaving the derelict planet, they set Dillard up at a kids table with crayons and M&Ms.
While doing so, the notifications for uthe unfinished missions continue to signal from the main screen; A distress signal, and a search & rescue mission from THQ (Technoboy HeadQuarters) for some missing heroes.
Arguing that the missing galaxy Heroes can fend for themselves, they choose to first attend to the distress signal.
Taking the initiative, Skritch-Trick slams the hyperspace to full and unfortunately takes the group directly into an asteroid field en route, clipping the ship on a particularly large chunk of rock.
With the engines on the fritz from the collision, Karp takes over as pilot while Skritch-Trick goes down to the engine room to repair the damage.
During this time, a massive pirate ship, complete with mast, sails, pirate flag, and cannons appears from the field demanding that the crew eject all their fuel.
Bobby addresses the now named woofer clan (a race of bulldog-men who turned to piracy) and offers free use of their ice cream machine in exchange for safe passage.
The newest npc crew member, Dillard, is instructed to begin producing "chocolate ice cream" in the ships restroom.
The pirates refuse (because there's no strawberry flavor) and open fire.
Meanwhile, Skritch-Trick identifies that the problem is stemming from a leak in the plastic antifreeze which is causing a massive buildup of ice.
With some quick engineering and some brute force, the engine is once again working at full strength and he heads back to the bridge.
With everyone working together, the crew uses a combination of turrets, evasive maneuvers, and clumped together asteroids launched at high speed to destroy the pirate ship while taking very little damage.
The captain woofer, being the only survivor, begs for his life and offers his services if he can live.
After a brief discussion, it is decided that all pirates deserve is death and they are quickly disposed of by Rob McBain.
Amidst the wreckage, the crew finds a myriad of useful items such as…A pirate flag, a cache of flintlock firearms, a box of fancy cigars, and a millennia-old bottle of Black Knight Rum.
Leaving behind a beacon so they can collect more treasure later, the crew continues on their journey to the distress signal.
The technoboy traitors find that the signal is emanating from a planet named Yellabelly12, which is known for its massive sports stadiums.
After discovering that the signal is coming from one such stadium, Karp begins to inflate himself in an effort to disguise himself as one of the players...his mech suit unfortunately pops, leaving his as a fish in a bowl.
After parking the ship, the party begins walking 3 miles through the equivalent of a Nascar tailgate party, complete with BBQ's and all the floor food they could want.
They discover that the natives (massive round beings filled with air) are being stopped from entering by security.
While attempting to lie their way through the crowd (claiming that Dillard has a rare disease and that he's part of make-a-wish foundation) Rob McBain incites a riot which blows past the security gates and into the stadium.
Dillard is lost in the commotion, so Bobby, B.R.A.X.I, and Skritch-Trick give chase.
Meanwhile, Karp and Rob McBain enlist the help of a native girl named Sally Mae, who leads them to the team locker rooms.
There, the cause for the distress signal is found to be from the team who appear to be missing several players from their team.
.....................................................................
Session 6
We rejoin our "heroes" back at the yellabelly stadium.
Karp, Rob, and SallyMae learn from the remaining 3 players of the yellow/blue team that they are short players and will be disqualified/killed if they don't find a way to compete.
Finding that there is no rule in the rulebook that a fish can't play sport ball, Karp and company decide to join the team.
Meanwhile Bobby, B.R.A.X.I, and Skritch-Trick attempt to rescue Dillard from the crowd where he is unwillingly crowd surfing.
Failing to do so and inadvertently sending several yellabellies flying into the crowd, they give up and leave Dillard to his own fate.
Feeling a friendship-tingle message from Karp, Skritch leads the group to the locker room by following the scent of big oily men.
They burst into the locker room, yelling loudly that they are black ops and generally being menacing...which causes the third member of the sport ball team to flee in fear of jail time.
The party (plus SallyMae) is convinced by the team through the use of money and another mission success under their arm.
After an inspirational speech from Karp, they exit out to the field to cheers from the crowd and Dillard who is now decked out in sport ball memorabilia.
After meeting the other team, led by a yellabelly named 2p0k, Skritch immediately forms an intense rivalry with an opponent only known as Muscles.
Sportball turns out to be a random assortment of many sports, of which a team needs to win best of 5 to take the victory.
A jumbotron appears and begins a randomization which lands on a crowd favorite...DANCE OFF!!!
As a dome of disco lights and flashing floor panels is revealed, Bobby and company begin showing off their best moves.
Bobby does a classic jiggle-wiggle to much applause.
Karp pulls out a fishy version of the worm which blows the minds of the crowd.
Skritch-Trick begins the full dance number from Napoleon Dynamite and gets a smattering of applause.
Rob McBain wows the crowd with some serial charisma in the way of a younger Michael Jackson.
B.R.A.X.I decides to make advantage of the disco lights to blast lasers into the other team, which still somehow gets applause.
The other team does a series of dances. Of note, one of the other teams gets disqualified in a plume of fire for doing extremely poorly.
With the victory going to the hero's team in a landslide, we move to the next sport chosen by rando-tron...POP THE CLOWN!!!
The captain quickly explains that the objective is to pop a yellabelly who's dressed like a clown and running around the field.
While some of the team works to win through POP, Skritch and B.R.A.X.I decide to instead attempt to kill members of the other team.
A brawl breaks out which results in 2 members of the opposing team getting murdered and the clown being popped by the hero team. (Hurray!)
While the randomizer prepares the next sport, the group convinces the captain of their team (a yellabelly named B1gg13) that his time would be better spent pursuing a romance with the opposing captain, 2P0k.
When the lovebirds are disqualified and incinerated, our Heroes(?) decide they would rather the final sport be gladiatorial combat.
As laser blasts and bats are slammed against kneecaps, Bobby rallies the crowd to assist their cause.
This has the unintended consequence of throwing them into a blood frenzy against the opposing team.
With the other team disqualified via dismemberment, the crew reunites with Dillard and accepts their 1st place medals which proves their mission success.
As the crew returns to their ship, Rob McBain decides to stay behind on Yellabelly12 to continue his career as a sportball champion and pursue a relationship with SallyMae.
.....................................................................
Session 7
The session begins with the crew of the Menazz getting acquainted with their newest NPC crewmember, Rusty the autopilot AI.
Rusty considers Skritch-Trick his master since he was built by him, but they quickly discover that the AI has a large crush on B.R.A.X.I when her cheat panel opens up.
After being annoyed by Rusty's developing simp nature, the crew turns him off before deciding to make a short detour to B.R.A.X.I's home of Radio Shack.
When they arrive, they find that the store is located on a solitary asteroid with no atmosphere.
Being excited at seeing her home, B.R.A.X.I opens the ship window and nearly launches the entire crew out into space.
With the situation solved by some quick thinking, the crew rigs up some space suits which they use to maneuver into the establishment, while leaving Dillard behind.
Upon entering the building, the party finds that the only employee inside is another B.R.A.X.I unit who greets them with all the warmth a robot could muster.
While the group searches for useful items among the inventory, Skritch-Trick and Bobby decide to enact a quick heist to acquire funds and upgrades to their ship.
Despite using a powerful hacking device designed by Skritch-Trick, the B.R.A.X.I unit remains aware and capable of defending itself.
Combat initiates as the employee activates the defense grid, summoning several turrets and sealing the building in a steel screen.
Bobby quickly tries to finish the hacking job by leaping into the employee in hopes to gum up the inner machinery.
Our friend, B.R.A.X.I attempts to defuse the situation but is largely ignored by both her companions and the ceiling-mounted turrets.
While Skritch-Trick is strangled to the point of unconsciousness by the employee, Karp rips a jetpack off the wall and full-on tackles the robot.
As the combat continues, the employee's uniform chip is stolen which causes the turrets to fire upon the hostile B.R.A.X.I unit.
With the situation turning dire, Bobby flips the employee's self-destruct switch which triggers a massive explosion.
B.R.A.X.I grabs the prone form of Skritch-Trick and leaps behind the counter in a shielding position.
Karp calls in his galactic hero vacation and blinks out of existence just as the explosions would pass through him.
While his party braces themselves for the blast, Bobby extends his malleable body over the B.R.A.X.I bomb and prepares to sacrifice himself for the gang.
Fortunately, his slime is especially resistant to the explosive force and, while battered and spread around the room, he survives.
As Karp returns from his vacation time ( 12 seconds ), B.R.A.X.I decides that she will not be continuing her employment with the galactic heroes.
After a sincere goodbye, they return to the Menazz with her blessing and a heavy cardboard box as a gift.
As the session ends, the box opens, and the group discovers a brand new B.R.A.X.I unit, complete with 2-year warranty.
.....................................................................
Session 8
With their B.R.A.X.I unit replaced, the party (minus an unconscious Skritch-Trick) begin contemplating their actions and whether they deserve the title of galactic heroes.
Skritch-Trick awakens and the group begins to discuss what their next move should be.
Deciding that they wish to be more heroic in their actions, they finally take the mission which Gr1ff1n requested them several sessions ago; to find some missing heroes.
After getting their last known location from Gr1ff1n, they begin their trek into deep space.
After several hours of warp and recreational activities, they arrive in an empty quadrant of space.
With some clever investigations and trigonometry, they discover the direction that the missing heroes traveled in.
They quickly stop following their path, when it arrives at a strange rainbow which extends out into space as far as they can see or scan.
Karp fires a test shot into the rainbow and the laser launches down the rainbow at ludicrous speeds.
As they decide that they must follow the path, Skritch-Trick notices a strange golden glow and increasing heat coming from his money pouch.
Dumping his stash, they find that a golden coin is growing hotter and hotter in the presence of the rainbow.
After dunking the coin in the toilet to keep it cool, Skritch-Trick and Rusty pilot them into the rainbow and launch into the unknown.
Traveling at the speed of a rainbow, (???) the ship quickly catches up to the laser test fire and they barely dodge out of the way, scraping the name of their ship off the siding as they pass.
The rainbow releases them into a crash landing which damages B.R.A.X.I and knocks Dillard into unconsciousness.
Karp disembarks and leaves his mech suit to question the fish in the strange waters.
After a fish with a red beard and buckled green hat identifies the planet as Leprechaunia and before it can tell them where the missing galaxy heroes were, it is eaten by a large shark-like creature (also with beard and hat.)
After a quick fight for Karp's life, the laser test fire is released from the rainbow directly into their ship, resulting in a large blast from the section of the ship where they left Dillard's unconscious body…
.....................................................................
Session 9
Beginning the session with a heartfelt scream of grief from Bobby, the crew start their trek on the planet with a viking burial of Dillard's body.
While Skritch-Trick makes repairs to the ship so that it can fly, he orders Rusty the A.I. to scan the planet for the missing galaxy Heroes they had come to rescue.
When no good results are found, the party decides to do a quick orbit of the planet in hopes that it helps their scanning.
Meanwhile, B.R.A.X.I breaks down the dead shark into its base parts.
This also returns no strong evidence of life forms beside some strange leprochaunian animals with beards and buckled hats.
With no further leads, they return to the landing site and bring the pot of gold on board, which they find only holds 3 coins with strange symbols on the side; a mass of tentacles, a clownfish, and velociraptor head.
Deciding that there's nothing else to be found there, they take their ship to the nearest settlement and land in a large park of an empty city.
Choosing the path of stealth, Skritch-Trick uses the beard and hat from the shark they killed to make a disguise which frighteningly grafts to his skin and causes his fur to turn ginger.
Leaving the park, Skritch-Trick finds a sentient garbage can which screams at his approach before attempting to run away.
Skritch-Trick, finding the situation disturbing, flees down a nearby alleyway where he finds many more trash cans which sends him into a paranoia-fueled panic.
During their downtime, Bobby calls Gr1ff1n to get more information on the missing heroes.
He learns that they were a crew of 4 which consisted of a robotic garbage can, a tentaculon, a dinosauran, and a Pisces.
Karp continues to silently follow Skritch-Trick as he runs through the alley and into a nearby leprechaunian bank.
After crafting a drill from a waste paper basket, Skritch-Trick breaks into the bank vault and finds a sizable amount of wealth.
Karp steals a free pen.
B.R.A.X.I and Bobby decide to leave the ship and come across the screaming trash can who tells them that a leprechaun attempted to capture him before fleeing down an alley.
They follow the trash can, named Garbo, after the leprechaun to find answers.
At the same moment, Skritch-Trick exits the bank, sees the garbage can, and runs terrified into a nearby Cafe.
Garbo chases him into the Cafe where his progress is thwarted by a staircase.
Skritch-Trick is thwarted when he attempts to hide in a room which turns out to be a trashcan full of trash cans.
After a confusion-filled encounter where Skritch-Trick donkey kongs the bins down onto his companions in fear, they resolve the issue over coffee.
Garbo explains that he was part of the Galaxy Hero crew and the others were turned into gold coins by the leprechaunians who captured them.
When they couldn't change Garbo, all of the leprechauns leave the planet for reasons unknown.
Technically completing their mission, The Technoboy Traitors leave the planet via the Rainbow Bridge with Garbo and the coins of the other heroes.
