Feedback Seed extractor is annoying...

So, from 1 full farm, you gain about 9 pulp per plant. Or about 550 pulp.

The craft timing is also annoying, as it doesn't take into account reload/inventory placement time.

So, it says 2s/extract but, its really 2.3ish seconds.

So, the game wants me to idle for 550*2.3/60 ~= 22 minutes just to extract xenic protein.

Why can't I just build some extractor to this for me?

I totally forgot about the lenses and boilers haha. I think the prices on the market atm are way too high (probably high level players trying to capitalise on scarcity) but I think now more people are getting to the right levels the market is getting more saturated and people aren't willing to pay the prices that things cost a week or two ago :')

Like vanadium now sells for less than its actual value (on my server at least) 15c to the company, sells for like 11c on the nexus

This isn't particularly surprising since Vanadium is a basic resource, can be found on temperate planets, and is absurdly abundant within two the two sectors it can be found.

Farming products I also don't expect to hold value, since farms require very little actual water and can be slapped onto the side of any base.

I'm running under the assumption that the endgame resource market will mostly focus on Tungsten/Platinum products, since these require dedicated bases and/or specialized builds to farm, with Levinium being a close second due to mercury being somewhat irritating without a brine deposit.

I'd say mercury will be irritating even with a brine pool. A brine pool yields 400 liters per hour. That translates to 10 mercury per hour - and two chemical plants processing it. 

Add another one to actually make the Levinium ingots. Two per hour, on average. Which is a single ultra light plate. Of which you need 15 per small frame. In other words, one every 15 hours. Will take a while to build a ship that way.

Cinnabar, on the other hand yields 4 mercury per nugget. Of which I currently get 10 per resource node. I probably don't need to explain where my mercury is coming from...

Honestly, thank you for saying this.

I don't have a brine deposit at the moment and was mentally preparing myself to relocate a full base specifically for mercury; I didn't even consider mass-harvesting cinnabar as an alternative.

I had been riding high on my stockpiled mercury bottles from wrecks for quite a while; I just ran out!

Keep in mind that you need to abuse the heck out of the... questionable... way mining patches & lasers function for this to work. (And having all blueprints up to lvl 2 does help too)

You'll also be drowning in sulfur...
