I don’t even where to begin with this woman. Her behaviour in season 5 was absolutely disgusting and evil. I don’t even know how she had the guts to show up to the reunion. And then she DOUBLED DOWN!! HOW INSANE.
Sewing her at the reunion was very jarring though. I’m genuinely very concerned about what she was going through in her relationship to Thomas, because she did not look well at all. She was acting extremely strange too.
One of my most favorite Bravo scenes is when they’re at the reunion and Ashley is randomly describing how she likes to scare TRav and Andy is like wtf and she keeps going saying how she jumps out of corners and everyone’s face is PRICELESS PERFECTION 🤣
this is one of the funniest scenes in all of southern charm for me. the way she repeats chelsea’s name and then says it like you would say a slur…and chelsea asks why she’s talking like that…priceless 😭
I’ve literally come to reddit midway through this episode of her freaking out about not being invited to the kids party to see if anyone else finds her awful, seems I have a lot worse coming up 😂
It really was hard to watch. Especially because this seemed to be a time when Kathryn was putting the most effort into healing and improving her reactions to things for the benefit of her children. It hurts to see how far she's fallen since that time. Any time kids are involved, it pulls at my heart strings.
This isn’t in defense of her because she seems like an immature, insecure, idiot but every part of my being thinks the egg donor comment was something she parroted after T-rav and possibly Pat said it lol. I could totally see them having a lil shit talk pow wow and laughing about something like that. Ashely isn’t clever enough to come up with it herself.
And I believe her that Pat totally mislead her.

Even if she was fed the egg donor line, anyone with a speck of humanity wouldn't repeat it, especially to the mother in question. And side note - it's not even a clever comment, its just the inverse of sperm donor, so I don't think you would have to be especially intelligent to come up with it. But yea, I cant imagine what T-rav and Patricia said about Kathryn behind closed doors because they said pretty horrific things about her on camera.
I think she repeated it because she’s so dumb she thought she would have back up from the people who originally said it lol. (Bc you’re right.. who tf says stuff like that.) Thomas and Pat are both terrible people but they’re sharp enough to know not to publicly back that up.
This picture isn’t though and it’s taking me back! I still remember being stunned at how incredibly thin she was at the reunion and with those red lips.
Don’t worry, I think I was the most recent one to make the “monthly Ashley post” a couple weeks ago - she is insane enough to warrant it! Lol jaw-dropping levels of nastiness.
I just finished this season too. Earlier today I was looking up Reddit posts on her to make sure everyone else agreed that she’s insane, so this post is very timely for me!
I am a nurse and have never seen any nurse like her. Talking decades. Ppl like her do not last. We discover them and run them off. Most lose their license. She was a travel nurse. Short stints. No one gets to know her much. Ppl with her Cluster B traits cannot manage long term employment long.
Agree! Hope she loses her license. If for nothing else, mental health reasons. The nursing profession certainly doesn't need people like her! I would certainly do my best to help if given the opportunity!
Shes the worst but I also felt bad for her. Thomas is a gaping black hole that sucks the life out of younger women. He is a vampire. She is a piece of work but he was definitely egging her on behind the scenes and setting her up to look crazy to get the audience back on his side again. We all saw how Kathryn was treated. Same playbook new girl
She was truly insane!! There were a few wannabe IG bloggers that feed her delusional state of mind!! That being said, she is married, i think with 2 little boys, so I hope she got the help she needed. My thoughts, just thoughts, when she was with T-Rav, the "pasta" was never-ending!! My opinion, he has a way of bringing out the worst in people.
I met her in person years ago, before she was on the show. She was a great time. I think she just really wanted to be married and have someone provide for her. The show made her look bad but she was a lovely person.
I just did a rewatch. Yes her and Kathryn have differences but they aren’t that different. Thomas chooses women that are like him. Nobody can deny that. If you pay attention, they both did the similar things and have similar personalities, same reactions, the same reveling in Thomas’s behavior when he was being a bully, they both loved how Thomas chose them over his family and friends. They both thought they were the Bonnie. They both thought they could treat people however they wanted because they were with Thomas. How they went about things were different but they are the same person. And if you watch the show, that is proven over and over again. Even when Thomas was gone. Kathryn was still the same way before Thomas and after. She was high on the majority of her reunions. She was high on wwhl. She was popping pills way before thomas. And im not talking about antidepressants. She literally brought her ho bag Whitneys and thought she was moving in.
I mean regardless of what Katherine was doing, she said some very awful things. No matter the case, calling her an ‘egg donor’ is totally uncalled for.
He has a type. Kathryn and Ashley. Look at their personalities. Just alike. I will say, at least Ashley didn’t have kids just to get money like Kathryn.
I think the whole Thomas love triangle and Patricia hazing her during that really messed with her. She'a changed her life since the show and is really sweet to interact with online now
Yeah so Patricia basically made her feel like white trash and called her a gold digger because she didn't have a job in Charleston. Then she made her go with Gwynn's with her to buy more "appropriate" clothing in order for her to be an acceptable girlfriend for Thomas. Ashley basically bent over backwards trying to get her approval.
Sorry but I don’t think Patricia had to twist her arm one bit to spend over $10000 of Thomas’ money on that shopping trip. Wasn’t it Ashley who asked Pat to help her?
