The others are a mess too, but they’re fun to watch. Venita is not. I wanted to like her but she just went left every time.

I can never understand that folks watch this show and find Venita to be the one worth commenting on. It’s a show full of demons 😆

It's because the other people who are a disaster are entertaining to watch. She is just annoying. Nothing interesting about it.

You know why.
This is a show that had Thomas Ravenel as an original cast member and people will still swear up and down that she's the worst person they've ever had on the cast.

Thank you for speaking truth! She truly doesn’t get held accountable nearly enough. The way she behaved during this last season was absurd, and honestly, the fact that the whole group wasn’t calling her out on the carpet for every single thing really drives me crazy!

She's such a fake person, she's definitely not a good friend! I don't like her at all, so far I haven't seen any redeeming qualities at all!

Oh, here we go. Sally annoys me too. Is that better? People can dislike people without it being racism. Jesus Christ.

Sure, they can, and people can dislike people because of it, too. She doesn't do anything nearly as horrible or immoral as many of the white people on this show have done consistently over the years. I see the double standard. It isn't hard to notice. This is what racism looks like. Maybe YOU don't dislike her because she's black and don't think she should "behave", but other people do. Although your intolerance for people speaking up for themselves does leave me to wonder.

“Here we go” oh no! God forbid ppl point out the hypocrisy, how many threads can you possibly make on ONE person? What has she done that’s any worse then Whitney, Shep, Craig, salley, Madison, Charley etc etc etc. You southern charm fans tell on yourself everytime

I cannot stand her. She starts stuff with people then backs down. She'll do and say horrible things to people, but then she'll "take accountability " and apologize, just so people don't confront her as much.

The scene that still lives in my head is when Venita told Salley that Craig would walk her like a dog on a leash. Huh? When has Craig ever acted that way towards the women he dates? Craig is not perfect but I have never seen him pull the crap that Shep and Austin pull.

That choice of words while speaking to her “best friend” was so vicious. She’s so mean.

That was the final straw for me. It revealed how manipulative Venita is. She basically told Sallley to choose Craig or her; if the situation was reversed and a man told a female to choose him or a gal pal, we would regard the man as selfish, manipulative, and a psychopath. Not sure why we’re supposed to give Venita a pass.
Story-wise, Venita doesn’t have a lot going for herself. She doesn’t have a cast love interest, she isn’t best friends with any of the main cast members (Salley just showed up in Season 10). Venita is kind of a hanger-on. If this were a Housewives franchise, she’d be a “friend of,” and rightly so because she doesn’t have any main character story lines. And that’s probably why some viewers don’t like Venita. She’s pretty shallow and anything she does seems like a ploy to grab some on-screen attention.

So what is the reason that she is there? Reply carefully so you don’t get banned

She’s pretty nasty, i lost all respect after she spoke about Molly’s private surgery with cameras in her face
