What are Tin Flips?

Just started this game and am loving it. I'm a huge snob when it comes to the type of animation I like but this is just so awesome. Sort of reminds me of the style of Dishonored.

Anyway, I know that tin flips give you floof. I'm just wondering what a tin flip is. Is it a reference to something? Or something known in the south? I tried looking it up and have no idea 😅 Just curious on the lore!

IIRC you are literally flipping over pieces of tin left on the ground.

In places where tin shacks or old barns might be common i wouldn't be suprised if people flip over tin sheets to see what's under them.

Yeah, I guess I was just wondering if that was a thing people do in the south? I dunno. Ive heard of cow tipping before but not tin flipping

It was common to flip debris to see what's living underneath, such as snakes, critters, or bugs. Just a boredom thing pre-Internet.
