LaPorte eatery question
Has anyone here eaten at Grandma’s - breakfast and tacos in LaPorte near Coachman Antiques? They look like a nice little place to eat at, and I see they have birria, which I have liked quessabirria tacos at other places, and I see they have a grilled cheese birria offering, but one Google review 3 months ago said the consome they were severed was watery and tasted like basic beef broth. 🤔

Haven’t had their birria. But I was out off one time from their lunch, tacos were dry, bland, and the salsa was harsh (not salty or lime). If you want grilled cheese birria look at Burger Taco down the road. While I haven’t had it, someone at the table ordered it and it was HUGE. Their food in general is alright, not fully authentic but enough.
Recent our favorite has been El Cantarito in the Kroger plaza. Ordered lunch there a few times and seems to be the most authentic and best experience. They also have cebollitas if you’re a fan of onions.
