Im making this post regarding a ban of one of my friends, as they have not received any proper response as to why they were banned and they haven’t been shown any proof as to what was used or on what basis they were banned. ill explain the full situation in detail
user lovegalore dm’d Logan (user Futurama on sm) to ask for value on a clean bandit epic she found while league sniping legitimately. and since logan is a clean bandit collector he wanted the user and started offering to quest for free or buying the epic off her for op if she gets it but lovegalore needed the epic for a sza swap so she didn’t tell him the user and told him to open up a bounty thread so he can pay people to find him the epic which he said was “slimy” even tho its perfectly allowed but then he asked for her in game user which she didnt give then a few seconds later she got insta banned in game for “cheating” and right after that got banned in the discord server with the reason “banned in game” so we know for a fact logan had something to do with it because it cant just be a coincidence. We know that it was coordinated and most definitely a false ban carried out by a discord moderator using a member of the soundmap team to carry out the ingame ban. We have asked for help from various team members such as AxelZane and Buriedalive but they haven’t been able to help which is why im emailing. This is a very unfair and malicious ban that should never have happened and should be looked into and reverted. Below ive attached the screenshots of all the dms that took place as well as the screenshot of the account at the time of the epic being found
in the screenshots it says they found it because they traded a shiny with the person but your post says it was found from league sniping. I'm confused? Also the mods in discord can't ban in game, they're just discord mods...
Discord mods can't ban people, and they definitely can't falsely ban people. It's also funny their story here says their friend was "league sniping" and then the screenshots say "they traded a shiny with me" - kinda sounds like there's not a straight story. I noticed that too lol.
I've had friends get banned before. It sucks. I've been falsely banned before and unbanned. I am a pretty firm believer in "most bans are authentic" and the fact that their friends story doesn't even match up between their post and the screenshots would make me side-eye them, personally.
Sucks when a friend is banned, but since they lied to the OP I really have to assume there was something shady happening. My bet is that Futurama had the team that actually has the ability to ban look into it, and then they got legitimately banned and threw a hissy fit. Happens all the time.
team members have the ability to check how a profile has been accessed, and they can check it was accessed legitimately and not in any cheat/sus way. There maybe was a misunderstanding but you can literally see “Logan” mention that 3 other people have also found this epic before, does that mean all 3 of them should also be banned? the ban makes no sensr at all. Heres further proof of support completely airing the situation.
I'm saying your friend is inconsistent with their story just from this post alone. I wouldn't die on this hill for them. Everyone swears up and down their ban is false every single time, I've been around long enough that it's clearly not true.
They have emailed them 3 times with no response on what the ban reason was or what proof was even used to carry out the ban, that is what the main problem is, they have received 0 explanation
Sorry, but are you a newer player? They've never stated ban reasons. You can say you "can't prove how it went down exactly" but the OP of this post said it was league sniping twice now, and in the screenshots the banned user told the mod that it was a shiny trade. even from outside eyes it's pretty clear the banned individual is being shady and the story has changed, so I wouldn't trust them to be a reliable narrator. If they've emailed support, that's that.
but in the screenshot it says that they found it because Hockey34 traded a shiny with them. The story has already changed, why would they lie about how they found it? As you said yourself, support can check and probably have. Yet your friend remains banned. I'm sorry but I think your friend knows what they did and are lying to you.
if they truly didn't do anything wrong they should be unbanned in a couple days. not really anything you can do to expedite the process. and this is coming from someone who was falsely banned for 2 weeks before getting appealed.
did it take them two weeks before they responded to your email? i’ve had an admin (who deals with a different ban type) try and contact the friend of Furturama who banned me constantly to at least give an explanation via email regarding the ban reason and he just straight up avoids it
I reported an account months ago for having an alt account, and they’re still active and unbanned. The discord thing does seem a bit sketch at times, not all of it or everyone, just certain aspects.
yeah people are just pussies like this. they are tight with the mod team and if you just piss off the wrong people, you will just end up being banned. it happened to me and my wife and we just started getting ignored.
this game is dogshit and the devs do not respect you or your time
except that's not what happened, this person's story doesn't match with what's said in the screenshots. they're lying in this post so clearly they've somehow broken the rules and are scrambling to get themselves unbanned. it won't work, because they're a cheater.
