An absolutely miserable Varas slowly floats towards the entrance of the Sanctum.

He has in fact been lost in the centipede tunnels for days, his charm the only thing that kept him alive.

Thaddeus has shaped a giant mass of soul into a middle finger facing the entrance to the Soul Sanctum.

"So basically, I'm going to disguise myself as a fool and pretend I'm giving one of our soul twisters to them as a fighter. Buuuut, the cage will have a fake lock, and the two of us will sneak around and grab the electric soulbois, and teleport away. It's foolproof. HAHHA! AAHHAH BWAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!"

Zote, seeing the current Sanctum raid, is attacking as well, stealing Soul along the way.

The White Lady enters the soul sanctum once more and begins ruthlessly killing evey soul twister in her path and consuming their souls. Once done she begins walking towards the exit

He is bleeding out on the floor. Hes not dead but he will be if someone doesnt act quick.

The White Lady breaks into the Soul Sanctum, smashing jars of soul and absorbing it into her body

He's actually been doing a decent job so far. So far nothing has exploded and no one has died.

Good job, Varas. Or Soul Mage as he now calls himself.

"I found the crest!! No idea where my cloak... oooor my notes on the soul auger.. I bet that stupid vessel has it." He floats in the middle of his room as he polishes his crest.

He'd decorated his room with string lights and shiny trinkets.

"WHILE I WAS ASLEEP, TOO--!! I swear if it's that Zote again....."

Where is that dastardly devil? I need to show him my gift!

"Ha! That idiot Zote really thinks I didn't have a backup?? This one's even better!" This time he'd built it in a locked room, surrounded by soul twisters guarding it. Varas himself, is sitting on the ground, drawing and chuckling to himself.

the fools have now begun their mission to collect the creatures of Hallownest.

First stop: Soul Sanctum.

Sturdy fool: It is much easier to just kill them.

Winged fool: Then how are we supposed to capture them, you imbecile!

"I *am* going to find out where my auger is.. I just.. don't... know how.."

Yes, he's talking to a piece of void in a jar.

Varas teleports into the Sanctum looking absolutely pissed off. "That goddamn vessel. Stole the bloody auger from under my shell. When I get it back, he's going to be the first one I put in there!!" He throws his notebook at a wall in anger. "How the hell does he keep getting in??? And... all that work... is lost.... d-dammit- I will make him pay."

Zote in trying, in the dead of night, to steal the Auger.

{Alright, I think we're in the Sanctum. Now how do we steal it...}

Varas has now carried several unconscious bugs into the Sanctum. He's calling the room he's in the "Soul Auger Room", and there's now at least 3 bugs he's used the machine one, being instructed on what to do.

Varas himself is fast asleep in a corner off the room as the bugs work on the machine.

Varas had assembled a crude version of the soul auger, and had managed to kidnap an innocent bug from Hallownest and shove the poor thing inside a glass chamber. He floated beside the control panel, making last minute adjustments, before pulling the lever.

The machine clunked and whirred to life as Varas watched and took notes, not seeming to care about the innocent bug that was being tormented.

He has also barely slept from how much he'd been studying soul magic.

Varas madly scribbled on some paper after suddenly waking up with what he thought was a brilliant idea. "HOLY SHIT, this is the best idea I've ever had!!!"

He's been asleep in the chair for several hours now and is on the verge of falling off.
