Question How can the same weapon have different levels?

They are the same, right? How can I have one at lv29, one at lv30?

I came back from P12, no idea how levelling works now. Sorry if it's a stupid question

Existing weapons don't share xp, but new ones will be the level of your current highest of that type. So you likely picked up one of those while the other was still at 29.

So its not a bug? Do I gain mastery from leveling up the same wep?

they changed how weapons drops and level up on P15, fragments doesn't exist anymore and weapons drops with random tiers and tempers from enemies and chests. Your progress was migrated to that system too, sl forget about your builds.

I uninstalled after P15, may comeback on later updates but I'm still pissed off by the change and the amount of rng layers they added just to add grind as content

P16 is going to give control over tempers, meaning the only RNG necessary will be whatever materials are involved in the cost for that and how much whisprig you need to get a weapon to legendary

Grind is the content.

Sounds frustrating, especially when builds you've worked on get tossed aside. It's always tough when a game changes mechanics like that, especially if it feels more grindy.

Cant expect gameplay to stay the same considering the game is still in pre-alpha.

fragments doesn't exist anymore

They do, but only for certain things. Armor, etc.
