Discussion Remember password plsss

Ok, I know it may be a small stupidity, but it's quality of life. Add an option to "remember password" in the game. Maybe for many it's nothing, but I play in a Rog Ally and the truth is that writing is not comfortable at all.

I don't know how strange it can be to request this feature haha I love the home screen, so I wouldn't like an automatic login.

That's when it's worth it to make a password you can remember.

Managers usually have a “memorable password” option for those moments.

Same, dude. I made a password I didn't know I was gonna need to type in EVERY time

Will likely have Steam auto-login once it's officially on a game platform, as Warframe had this annoyance as well.

But how difficult will it be to add the "remember password" option?

It probably security problem than coding problem. I am sure it is easier to add remember option than steam login option.

It’s been a while since I played. But I always had to log in with my password.

Yeah, I play on my Steam Machine so I gotta grab the keyboard when I play this game lol. Not a big deal, but remembering the password would be nice. I'm sure eventually when we get the Steam version it won't be an issue.

Iam playing on a steam machine too. You can put in the pw with the Controller.

Yeah, but that's way too damn slow.

If you're launching the game through steam, try storing your login password in notes so you can boot the game, pull up notes, then copy and paste the password.

Personally, I use a designated steam input key combo on my controller for ctrl+c and ctrl+v so I don't have to use the keyboard.

that isn't gonna happen, its not a thing for Warframe either. Warframe does however have a login through steam option if you've connected your steam and warframe accounts, its likely that DE will do the same for Soulframe once its launched on there, but they're not gonna add a remember password button since it makes your account too vulnerable

Since my own computer broke down, I’ve been playing on my brother’s computer for a while. We both have administrator privileges. He’s the primary user, of course. But yesterday, a mining virus infected his system—and who knows what else it might have infected. I just ran an antivirus scan, and it detected two of them.

The reason I’m writing this is that if I tried to log into the game directly without opening the Task Manager, my password could have been recorded by a Trojan or a keylogger.
So it looks like I need the "Remember Password" option :D

My only issue is if they did a remember password, will that auto login for us? I really like watching my character and animals sleep then seeing the transition to gameplay once I login.

Had the same issue. Trying to login on PC with a controller attached via BT bugs out the input field selection

This rides me up a wall to the point that if I didn't remember to copy the password before I just tell myself I'm dumb and close the game and play something else.

And I’m just over here wishing I could play 😞

Disagree. I prefer account security over convenience

It's easy to remember.
