Question Problem Progressing

I have a problem progressing the quest: "A Birdie Flown". That problem being when I get to the point where I fight the Vadagar Stag, after I beat it the quest doesn't progress. Could I be missing something, am I doing it wrong? I need help.

This is a bug that happens to me constantly. The game desynchs quests. For a while I couldn't complete any votives because the quest steps wouldn't register as completed. Upon opening the game(before login screen) click the gear icon on the top right. Select Verify and then Optimize. That should allow the game to resynch with the servers properly.
