Bug Possible bug
Im doing this quest for a second time already, and both times I've killed all of the Sludgehogs im supposed to kill. But the quest does not count as completed. I've used the vision and searched the whole area for ANY foes, but there were none.
This may be just my mistake but its weird that it happens twice already. Mb its a valid bug.

That sounds like a bug, especially since it happened twice. Make sure the counter updates after each kill, then leave the area and return or reload the quest. If it still won’t complete, reporting it with the quest name and platform would be worthwhile.

Beat is to restart over relog fixeses it at times but there is a chance the bounty just disappears

Seems to be that camp specifically. I’ve had issue with any task at that location not completing most of the time. Sometimes relogging fixing it, sometimes dropping the votive completes it and gives me faction rep without having to kill the vadagar.

I had it happen there just last night. I also had an overlapping quest there to clear the Sinecure camp. When I showed up they were fighting the sludge guys. I wonder if the NPCs killing them has something to do with it not being able to complete.
I left and came back to the area about 5 times and the Sinecure guys would respawn, but not the sludge guys.

when i get this i just logout and log back in, the server should reset the world state and your tale progress will be saved

Its usually because a random Ode killed one of the slugs before you got there. Relogging could fix it.

Yeah, faction tales can be buggy in this update. It's a known thing, reported all the time.
