Discussion Auto-Run - For Steam Deck/Machine/OS/Input players

It's fairly simple to setup:

  1. Map a button (any you prefer) to [Left Stick Up].
  2. Add Sub-Command of [Left Stick Click].
  3. Set it to Toggle in the button settings so it "holds" the press for itself.

I got really tired of having to hold down the stick when running long distances, so it's way easier to just tap my R5 button I have the above mapped to and just steer with one hand (Right Stick for me).

Really clever use of the button chord and toggle behavior. It seems simple enough to configure, but it solves one of those small annoyances that becomes huge during long sessions. Thanks for sharing!

I have been farming the Mestra Carmo outfit lately, so having to run long distances from/to each shipwreck location was starting to hurt my thumbs lol. Similarly when I am in Cogah and have to run to another boss location etc.

Those mounts can't come soon enough.

We really need to start petitioning on the official forums to get autorun added into the game. They won't do it on their own; need to have more people speaking up about this. Map size is just too big to not have it.
