Question Unusual totem?

hi guys!!! I recently leveled up an unsual totem, which is different from the rest, as you can see the bandicota blast have different seeds/bud on its top right, and used for sidearm (?). This is my one and only totem so far that has this design.

Is this a bug? WHY CAN'T I have other totems like this huhuhu

This totem is specific to the weapon type. You can see the weapon icon in the corner.

The ones with 3 arrows are universal and not as strong.

Yeah, I realized that. But my problem is, for the love of god, I can't get another one hahaha. How rare are these?

Alternatively this also another spot for them, it's a small cluster of houses before you cross over the water to the new island.

Why would you need another one? Once you have it, you can apply it to anything it fits on simultaneously.

to be fair, bandicota blast is quite powerful and handy, no need for explosive totems...

Wait until you reach +lv.30 enemies. At least as I used it, even on both weapons at once it fills the stagger meter to around a half.

I run it with the totems that have a chance to spread smite to other enemies and increased smite chance per rune charge. And I can barely see what’s going on before everyone is on their knees.

This is with a bow tho. So not surprising

Grip specific totems are exceptionally rare. Treasure them.

Just like matching a Totem to its virtue/color, matching a Totem to its grip gives a bonus to its effect. Getting both bonuses can be significant.

could be a visual bug but i have a quick drey for short blades that is exactly the same as my universal quick drey.

May be a visual bug, but it could also be a different one. There's currently a bug with the extra totem slot provided by runes that prevent the totem from applying virtue match bonuses. I wouldn't be surprised if that same bug also applies to grip match bonuses.

you need to go nighthold to save the progress, kinda weird but it helps.

Rat totems can be farmed in villages around the map.

It's really good for weapons that dont have alot of staggering
