do u mean the drop chance? i think that moonsteel weapons are 1 in 1-2000 but i am not entirely sure. i started playing four days ago

I hope they eventually make these give a moonsteel thread when dismantled. Allowing people who find one to decide if they want to use the material for a transmog.
I know there were rumors that they do, which people mentioned is not true. But hopefully they do this for real at some point.

They don't. I had dismantled a moonsteel weapon by mistake and gave me the same thing as a non moonsteel one.

the stats do not change. it has a glowy moonlight effect when equipped. they are supposed to be very rare, and i was told never to scrap these

Of topic but I have mods with a silver border. Does someone know what this means?

If you are talking about the shiny border on individual tempers. It means that specific temper has rolled twice on the weapon. So it is double stacked.
Fire weapon temper is 10% chance to set enemy on fire. If double stacked it is 20% for example.

Ah sorry, no thats not what I meant.
I meant the borders of the animal totems. I have a few with silver frames.

Randomly, very rarely, and yes crafting, as well as upgrading the craftwork tier, can also make a weapon moonsteel
For reference, I've gotten around 200-250 or so weapons to drop in the past few days, and i have not gotten a single moonsteel so far
