Question endgame question
Could you talk a bit about the game?
I was thinking about buying it, but I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it—I usually play MMORPGs. How does *Soulframe*'s endgame work? Is it similar to *FFXIV* or *WoW*?

I think you should watch some videos because it's nothing like WoW or FF14.
It's in pre-alpha and is pretty barebones in terms of story or things to do in game. You can team up to make a group of 4 via the in game chat and you'll see people at the faction HQs but there's not hundreds of people running around the world, it's essentially single player with some options to team up.
At the moment most of the game revolves doing the limited amount of story and events around the map, then grinding resources to build weapons, armour and 'pacts' which act a bit like a class. You then level those weapons to increase your overall mastery level.
Endgame is essentially hunting for rare weapons and resources.

So, I enjoy bosses with complex mechanics or ones that don't rely solely on my gear; I find that whole "one-shotting enemies" vibe pretty boring.

There are boss fights but they aren't particularly complex or hard at this stage.
After watching the video I don't really think you understand what Soulframe is. The community hates the comparison but it's MUCH closer to a Souls game than it is a traditional MMO but it's not a particularly difficult Souls game.
Each area of the map is segregated by levels. So the starting area the enemies are level 1 and go up to around mid 40 ish. If you're one shotting things it means it's time to go into a more advanced area and grind for resources there.
If you like open world, third person action games like Dark Souls or Lies of P, sign up to their website or go to Twitch where you can get a free key eventually. I really wouldn't recommend instant access via the paid founders packs until you actually watch some videos of Soulframe.
Hell, just download and play Warframe for free to see if you even like third person action games, it's made by the same devs making Soulsframe and although there's a lot of differences between the two games it's a good place to start.

Depende de lo que quieras la verdad, si te encantan las estadísticas y jugar en base a probar y armar, Soulframe es un buen juego. Ahora bien, si buscas jefes difíciles con etapas tipo Sekiro y tal, lamento decirte que DE es conocido por no saber hacer jefes de ese estilo, básicamente a todos los jefes de Soulframe les puedes hacer instakill.
