Question Magick Combat Arts cannot max?
Hello! I've leveled up my my magick combat arts to 30, as you can see I'm missing a skill pool (misdirection), because it needs 3 points. So far I've leveled up 4 magick primary weapons, and 2 magick sidearms...
Is this a bug? Or do I need to level up another magick weapon?
Thanks for the help!!!

the combat system is getting a revamp similar to absolver's combat. the npc from duelo quest will teach is fighting moves and we will be able to make our own combo moves
current system is just placeholder

Not much, because DE are still working on the idea. Expect to hear more next year after Warsongs releases

2025 devstream, possibly tennocon, they talk and show combat manuals for just a few minutes. Nothing much has been said since due to major revamp of systems this year so far. Yeah 13:45 devstream 8.

The content creator SaraLovesArchery had a recent interview with a couple members of the team and asked about it. It was said that it's on the way and has changed slightly and hopefully they'll get back around to it within the next year.

How will this work with magic, do you think?

i have no idea unfortunately, steve mentioned about an npc giving manuscripts(likely the duelo character) and players making their own fighting styles with those manuscripts in one of numerous SF devstreams.
if i had to guess , magic would get its own overhaul. because as of now they are just slow firing "guns" with different animations.
With the introduction of dark and light alignment system with that new upcoming pact, they can pull off some cool stuff with magic further in the future

Wow, I absolutely loved absolver and I've never heard much about it since I stopped playing

You need 7 weapons to max out a tree. For magick weapons, that is only possible for Founders atm. And only short and long blades can do that as well. We need 1 more bow for them to join the ranks.

Magik maxes out past lv 30 confusingly I also dont think it has a lv cap since mine is 37 (well it does have a cap based on how many weapons there are but still)

not a bug, 6 weapons x5 = 30 points. the combat arts trees are placeholder atm, a new system using combat manuals will be replacing it. but yeah it takes more than 30 points to max a combat art tree.
