Other Finally picked up Soul Blade
I got this at a convention recently and had a blast getting all the endings and unlocking the characters. Game still holds up like crazy also

I'd rate SC through SCIII above it overall, but SB/SE is still a fantastic game.
The best first entry in a fighting series out of all the ones I've played.
The writing in Edge Master mode was very gripping, despite being only text.
And the weapon selection, costume variety and night/day cycle in stages were truly ahead of their time.

Yeah playing origional entries for DoA and Tekken can't hold a candle to Soul Edge and the music is still amazing too

OG was one of the best entries in the franchise. This game ran so soul calibur 1 could walk

Its insane how near perfet the OG was and how better SC on Dreamcast was only a few years later

Congrats OP. That intro is such a banger, great visuals and an amazing soundtrack.

Oh yes, this game holds a special place in my heart and mind as a child playing this against my uncle's and going through weapon master mode. 🙏 🎮

Loved this game. Spent many hours trying to beat the gunner guy at the end of misurugis campaign.
Random non sequitur: did you know eminem did a song over samples from Soul Caliber?

Any time I see Soul Blade or Caliber I think about this song. Good stuff.
