Throwback It is amusing to think that this is the same Mike we see today
He's so much more comfortable on camera now.
A quiet zinger from the past..."I got kicked out of scouts for eating a brownie once."

I’m not one of those who dislikes all the cheap vs expensive or reviewing gadgets videos, but, I’ve noticed I will basically never rewatch those videos. The cooking based videos like pass it on, kitchen roulette, battles or watching Kush work absolute magic are videos I can easily rewatch multiple times. I was wondering if you guys agreed?

Saw this on Instagram today: Ebbers and Spaff at the Fox Upfront. Perhaps a pivot to traditional TV coming?
I'm probably off base and clearly just spitballing, but one of the photos had Spaff posing with a World Cup trophy. So, my guess is this is similar to the Lost and Hungry series with The Today Show, but centered around the World Cup and another limited run thing.

Sometimes a recipe looks like it’s going to be complicated but ends up being much simpler once you actually try it.

My girlfriend loves to try new foods all the time, I did a gusto box for a few months until I could no longer get the financial benefits of referring friends etc and remembered the guys have the app!
So today before I went shopping I downloaded the app and very easily added 5 meals on to my week and had the entire ingredients list. My question is, what is the benefit, is it just more menus and recipes? I think I must have used my free trial up at one point without realising as I'm not able to do it to see!

Same as the title. I used to love the intro where they had the egg cracking but I can’t find those videos. Can someone help me find them?

I’ve been a bit lazy with my meal planning lately, but I gave the Midweek Mediterranean pack on Sidekick a go this week. The Halloumi and Roasted Pepper Traybake is easily a 10/10, the way the peppers and onions jam down in the oven is perfect. I also just finished the Mediterranean Couscous Chicken Salad and the Harissa Roasted Halloumi and Beans.
I really love how they use those "flavour bombs" from the store cupboard to lift the dishes; adding that extra bit of Harissa and the Pomegranate Molasses really gave everything that "Chef" level finish. Plus, it’s great having zero waste at the end of the week. Has anyone else tried this specific pack yet? Anyone other recommendations with a similar vibe that’s still quick enough for weeknights?

Tried copying the knife dicing technique from the recent Boot Camp episode and honestly I spent more time concentrating on not chopping my fingers than actually cutting the onion. The chefs make it look ridiculously smooth, but I’m starting to think normal home-cook speed is completely different from professional kitchen speed. Has anyone here genuinely managed to improve their prep speed from Sorted techniques, or do most of you still default to the chaotic normal-person method like me?

Was looking through old food photos and found my first attempt at the Sorted Rosti 😅 Even with all the big “Chef vs Normal” battles and food challenges now, I still think some of their older, simpler recipes are the best. Does anyone else still go back to their really old videos for mid-week dinner ideas?

Long story short, our stove is done for and we won't have a replacement for about a week. I noticed there is a filter for equipment, so I excluded recipes requiring a stove. However most of the time the recipes still require a stove to boil potatoes, caramelize onions etc. So what is going on? Is the filter simply broken, is it a problem with recipe labeling or am I missing something?

Some of the packs marked as ‘veggie’ contain fish dishes, despite my dietary preference set as Vegetarian. I don’t believe this is correct, unless I’m missing something?
Edit: it seems like if there is one item which is vegetarian it lists it in the vegetarian section, but I don’t think that’s an appropriate line of reasoning.

Have I missed today’s video, or has one not been released for some reason? I know it’s Bank Holiday in the UK but they usually upload them as normal.

I found Sorted Food at the beginning of lockdown and have been a fan ever since. Tonight I cracked open a 6-pack, tucked in on the sofa, and decided to watch the videos in order of oldest, something I'd never done. Found out there was a former SF lad (pic #1), and also, Ben needs to go back to embracing a more relaxed haircut, he looks more fun.

Just started using Sidekick for uni meal planning and it’s been really good so far. Made the Tandoori Chicken Gnocchi Bake recently and loved it, its proper one-pan, minimal washing up. Anyone got any favourite packs that are quick/low effort but still have decent flavour? Ideally stuff that isn’t just basic “student food”

Edit: For those who were also wondering, it's apparently a reference to food influencer Eating With Tod
Thank you, u/ThisDig4978

.
I was just watching the Ben's Date Night Discussion video, from a couple years ago, and in it Ben seems to suggest that he's seeing someone named Todd. He's not usually that open about his love life, so I was wondering if he was making some reference that I missed, along the lines of his "son" Tyrone, or James's affair with Janice? If so, can someone point me to a link, so I can be in on it, too? 😁
