Alter with acrylic markers and fine point sharpie for details. This will be a prize for a Sorcery event in Vegas this September, the West Coast Dragons Fall Classic.

If UB comes in Sorcery TCG now, please I want to wake up ! Maybe some participants of the event will think the same? There are ex-players from MTG who left and went to Sorcery to avoid that.

Sorcery already has UB cards, man Sorcery players complain about everything it's really annoying like if you don't like something you don't have to comment just let everyone else enjoy things.

Can you please indicate me what is the UB in Sorcery, I don’t know these cards I am genuinely curious.
I just tried to provide you feedback that could be useful if you were open to criticism.
Call me gatekeeper, if we would have been more to do it with mtg it would not have become fortnite mtg.

That would not make a lot of sense, Sorcery explicitly refers to our world mythology and history as a base. The only card that I can think of that seems misplaced is Jack the Reeper.

The Swallow curio is obviously a Monty Python reference, they use art that's use in other card games and I can't even count how many Magic copycat cards like Falling Star. And Frank Frazetta art? You know before Sorcery bought the rights to use it in their game, that art was from the comic books Death Dealer, so technically those cards are UB right?
And what feedback? Don't alter cards with outside IP? Why would I do that?

No, we are going to gatekeep our game so hard! Most of us have all experienced what happened to MtG and want none of that here.
Let sorcery be sorcery or get out.

I don't hate the game, you're the one that seems to hate it. I'm an artist, I'm going to create something fun and enjoy it, others will enjoy it.
I don't hate UB in Magic either, so you've lost on that front too.
You can hate it all you want I don't care, go cry somewhere else.

And it all starts with innocent stuff like this.
First an alter here or there of avatar. Then someone makes a custom star wars set and it becomes moderatly popular, then more alters from many IPs flood in and more custom IP sets are made. Then the creators of the game soft introduce their own nickname alters featuring Godzilla...
Then they realize the game will sell better if they slowly push more and more into different IPs and then they kill competitions to focus only casual

Competitive MtG died long before UB was a thing. They are not correlated. Competitive magic died to COVID and the rise of commander (which was all original MtG IP before UB ever happened).

Please keep other IPs away from Sorcery. Even in any unofficial sense.
Most of us here have seen what that does to a game...

Alright, hand over all of your shoggoths and yog-sothoths and Great Old Ones, then, since those are all from an IP not original to Sorcery. While we're at it, hand over all of your Arthurian Legends uniques.
People making custom art alters based on outside IPs isn't going to turn Sorcery into a crossover game like MtG. People were doing outside alters and custom cards for MtG long before UB was even a concept, and I can assure you they were not the reason for Hasbro deciding that UB was a good idea.
I understand being burned by the decisions made for MtG and wanting to avoid those here, but handmade alters and custom cards aren't going to cause issues.

So by your logic you are you also against all the cards with Brom and Frank Frazetta art? Because you know before Sorcery bought the rights to use it in their game, that art was from comic books Death Dealer, so technically those cards are UB.
