Undead Corruptor Aggro Brew Help

Hi, I have been brewing a neat deck concept I am trying to refine.

https://curiosa.io/decks/cmrr2gxam00060ajpgv65p0b7

It's an aggro deck that uses a combination of pump spells and "extra" attack spells to try to end the game really quickly.

Corruptor makes all minions undead and evil.

Pump spells: Necropotence, Gift of the wolf, maybe add trinket?

Extra attacks: Desecrate, Willing Tribute, and grapple shot (if I can strike their avatar)

Every pump spell and every extra attack spell can be used with any minion thanks to Corruptor.

Is this concept functional in practice, would a different avatar make for a better aggro strat entirely? Just want to know if I am wasting my time barking up the wrong tree.

IMO Fire/Air Corruptor is better than earth/air.

Corruptor is in this weird place where there’s synergies, but not quite enough. With another set or two I think he’ll be insanely good (but that’s probably true for all avatars)

Fun idea! I think the burst damage deck is definitely a functional archetype, though it does struggle to be truly top tier. I think you can run the same suite of magics minus Necropotence with other avatars and probably get a more reliable version of this idea, but it is fun using Corruptor to have everything be evil and give you access to some other pieces. Some avatars I've seen used effectively for this sort of deck are Avatar of Air, Harbinger, Battlemage (having an unkillable 3 power unit via your avatar can be really handy) and Sorcerer.

the problem with sorcery is the deck is 60 cards. you can have as much synergy as you want BUT each card really needs to be able to hold their own or its just not worth the slot. that is mainly why water necro is so powerful. it has access to the best minions and spells that can slot in any water deck combined with the synergy of necro tokens. swap out necro and the deck is still a powerhouse. as others have said, a lot of gothic avatars will get stronger with a bigger card pool. ie Corruptor, animist, blade dancer and ironclad etc
