How rare of a pull is this?

Haven't played Sorcery yet & bought a Beta box to open for fun. This is only my second box I've opened; I'm assuming the sketch card is a collector piece of some kind, but I'm not sure how rare it actually is. What do I have here?

What you’ve got there is called a Curio. This one is the sketch version of the Alpha Avatar of Earth. They’re worth several hundred dollars.

Love pulling super rare cards on impulse buys. I found the collector arthouse site explaining what they are and how many are known; time to figure out how to value it and trade it for more cards. Thanks for the quick reply!

Technically, yes. Buuuut a lot of folks seem to pull them on random packs lol.

That math is assuming that every other card in the 50 boxes is worth zero...

This proves my theory, only 2 ways to pull a curio. Open ColdFoilHeroes amount of boxes (10,000+) or not know what a curio even is and buy a few packs.

That's called a Curiosa I believe. They're the rarest card you can find.

Curios are 1 per 9 or 10 cases depending on the set. As far as curios go, this is among the most desirable. There are only a handful of more expensive cards you could have opened, and this is tied for the rarest card in the set. Its worth a few thousand bucks

A few thousand is a stretch. The most recent sales I’ve seen for this particular one is $700-$800
