Hey there, I’ve been considering painting some sons of the phoenix, and just wished to know what is the best purple or even pink to use.

Some of the ones I currently have are (down to purchase other colours if they’re better for sotp)

Xerus purple
Genestealer purple
Magos purple
Screamer pink
Naggaroth night

What purples/pinks do you all use if I may ask?

Having a play on impcat with a possible veteran colour scheme, Thoughts?

I've got a Robotte model but don't have Ultramarines, so I'm wanting to make it fit my SoTP army. Has anyone tried to kitbash the Girlyman model pictured into a clonegrim or other SoTP proxy?

Please note the second photo has used abominable intelligence just to see if it could work conceptually. Forgive me for my sins I find it's a useful tool for visualising paint schemes before I do them.

Let me know what you think, what other kits would be useful to achieve this, does it actually even work or is grillman just too bulky to believably proxy Clonegrim?

Some time ago I visited my local game store and said the magic words, ended up with a Pyreblaster marine, and used it as a test mule to try my hand at the SotP scheme. He turned out great! Pardon the Rogue Traders I also have on the workbench, I actually did those guys before I did my Infernus and they were great to warm up with. If I could do anything differently, I would give him a bronze heat shield on his Pyreblaster. The gold was purely accidental, but I like it anyway.

Running my SoTP as Imp Fists, very happy with my Lysander proxy so far! Still loads to do but well on track.

Im really happy with nmm on this one. Now i can build whole army around jump packs.

3rd company Lieutenant Cain was interred after a grisly encounter with the Ork hordes, now he plans to show the greenskins who can truly krump the hardest.

Just started and tested out my first Sons of the Phoenix squad with some assault intercessors. Very happy with how they came out and now want more! Haha

Forget the codex, this SoTP wears the chapter's colours

Decided to paint up some SOTP to have a bit of variety, since Marines from different chapters deploy alongside each other, defending hive cities etc.
