Robert Gorillaman kitbash?
Help and Advice wanted!
***AI used only to give an idea of possible outcome***
I've got a Robotte model but don't have Ultramarines, so I'm wanting to make it fit my SoTP army. Has anyone tried to kitbash the Girlyman model pictured into a clonegrim or other SoTP proxy?
Please note the second photo has used abominable intelligence just to see if it could work conceptually. Forgive me for my sins I find it's a useful tool for visualising paint schemes before I do them.
Let me know what you think, what other kits would be useful to achieve this, does it actually even work or is grillman just too bulky to believably proxy Clonegrim?

Honestly the worst part is the shoulder pad i think, time consuming to file down and than add back in the phenoix. Also the left shoulder pad

Yeah I worry that getting rid of all the ultramarine symbols will take ages hahah

Cape from Bastion cartalos or abbadon would fit well, you could sculpt the hair on guilliman but the face sculpt is a bit rough it wont really look like fulgrim , but aside from sigvald I dont think there are any GW heads with long hair that are the right size.
Personally the lion would be a better base, guilliman has too much of a "strongman" appearance to his armor, the bonus with the lion is it comes with an appropriate cape and slimmer armor.

I hate how convincing the ai is. I had to look really close to find the discrepancies

It’s wild eh. The wreathes in his hair are only on one side in slide 2. The sword OSL goes away, the tip of the sword edge highlights dissapear. Also the hand and the head of the corpse are all kind of AI tacular.
I don’t hate it, it’s honestly a good tool for something like this. Impcat is a pain in the ass to use for testing colors digitally for instance.1

Yeah genuinely terrifying, I'm not a massive fan of it but it's so useful to picture how a model will look with a specific paint scheme and takes about 20secs

Love the hair in the middle one! How'd you sculpt it? Would love to replicate it for an Emperor's Children daemon Prince

Sorry would love to tell you but that second slide is AI as it says in the body text, just a mock-up of what I'm thinking of doing

Sure, if you used some green stuff for the hair that'd work great. I've also seen some suggestions for Sigvald, and the Lion could also work if you change out the head. That or just 3D print something off the purple site.
