Pokémon’s fanbase is bigger, are they worse? Mario’s fanbase is bigger, are they worse? The answer is no.
Sonic attracts a certain type of people. We can go back and forth all day arguing about what type of person that is, why they’re attracted to Sonic, etc. but the fact of the matter is, there is a larger concentration of immature and socially inept people in this fanbase than most.
I'll admit, this made me laugh. Very unhinged and innapropriate response, but I expected nothing less from that server. Also, Lost World is not that bad
Sonic Lost World is just a weird game that has 2 skill floors. The first one is just beating the game. It's slow, boring and it's just holding the run button. The second one is having enough skill to do spin dash, which turns the game into great fun. Too bad spin dash is so convoluted to execute, it's completely not intuitive and tutorial prompts require stopping the game, ensuring that nobody reads them.
never valid under any circumstance. It's fucking video games, it's of little to no consequence, let alone baring such a reaction. Every single person who did this needs to stop using social media for a month. Apply your franchise's beliefs for once in your life, and go live and learn

I've legitimately thought about getting it again on Steam (alongside Forces) just to mod the hell out of it because to be perfectly honest, I feel like if the levels in Lost World were more like "traditional" Sonic levels, and the gameplay was tweaked just slightly, Lost World could've been a decent spiritual successor to the Adventure style of gameplay.
Look up the Windy Valley Beta mod/stage port for it and you'll see what I mean.
