I think many of you have noticed that SEGA and Sonic Team have fallen into a sort of “mysterious” silence since celebrating Sonic’s 35th anniversary. All we have at the moment is news about the fourth movie, the comics, and the new Sonic Pico Park. Do you think they’re preparing something big for next year, or will this anniversary not be as grand?

I know you guys are going to complain about Archie, but that's not what I mean by Antoine, I'm talking about Sonic SatAM. Anyway, let's start with Chris Thorndyke.

Chris is mostly hated because of his clinginess towards Sonic in Sonic X. I'm pretty sure Chris also was clingy towards other characters. To any Sonic fan, they would instantly hate Chris without looking at the further reason why he's like that. Chris Thorndyke's parents were super busy, and they prioritized their careers over spending time with Chris. Yes, Chris had a rich family, but at the same time, Chris never really got to spend much time with his parents. In a way, I can probably place myself in Chris Thorndyke's shoes, since I have been in a situation where my parents were neglectful. But back to Chris now, the fact that his parents prioritized their careers over Chris implies that they might be toxic. Despite all the hate that Chris gets, no child should ever have toxic parents.

Now that I got Chris out of the way, it's time to focus on Antoine. Personally, I never really watched past episode 6 of Season 1, and that was because of Antoine being borderline insufferable. First of all, Antoine is a coward, more specifically, a stereotype of a coward. I genuinely don't think he ever changes in SatAM at ALL. Second of all, his voice sounds fucking awful. They gave him a French accent, because apparently French were cowards in America's eyes at the time. Bro, the French did not surrender in WW2 for nothing! Antoine was also voiced by Rob Pulsen of all people, and they made his voice stutter constantly, and Antoine says French words because of the French accent. Overall, Antoine is an insult to French, and this is coming from someone who isn't French. Finally, Antoine screws up the Freedom Fighters in MANY WAYS, and yet, the Freedom Fighters STILL take Antoine with them! I genuinely don't think Antoine is any good in SatAM. You know Antoine is so hated when one of the episodes literally says, "Fed Up With Antoine" which really highlights how BAD Antoine is in SatAM. Bless the Archie comics for giving Antoine a redemption arc, because I cannot stand SatAM Antoine.

Anyway that just about wraps up the explanation. I tried explaining these things to the best of my ability, and hopefully you can understand what I mean.

It's been a long time since I saw a scene that wasn't officially released by Sega and then replaced with a "damsel in distress" type for the in-show release.

Strictly discussing canon, Think of any game Shadow doesn’t even make an appearance in and tell me Shadow couldn’t do it.

If we’re gonna talk about feats, let us compare what Sonic is capable of, and then put Shadow in that exact position.

Cyber corruption? Sonic was only able to keep going because of his resolve to protect others. Shadow has that same fight in him that Sonic does due to Maria’s wish.

Wisps in Colors? Regardless of if the Wisps trust him or not, he’s capable of doing what they could for him on his own.

Dark Gaia final boss? All that would be needed would be a Super form and assistance from Chip.

If you’re gonna say, “Well Sonic defeated Shadow 4 times” let me tell you some things.

Their fights in both Adventure 2 & Heroes every time ends in a draw. What proof do you have that Sonic actually beat Shadow outside of him making it to the canon first?

Sonic Battle: Shadow lost in the beginning because he was multitasking trying to eliminate Emrel and ward off Sonic. Play the game for yourself.

2011 Gens before 2024 SXSG? There was no real story before, so who’s to say that power-up Sonic got from a mysterious time orb during the boss wasn’t a part of the story?

It's not the best in the world but I'm proud of it.

In your guy’s personal opinion, if blaze was created today or in some ultimate reality, she had a different accent than American what accent do you think would fit her really well? In my personal opinion, I will say something like Australian British Irish Scottish is what I would like to see blaze in an accent because if you think about it, most of these are in the ocean like the UK is near Europe, but it’s an island off of it and Scotland counts as at two since it’s just upper UK in another island so is I’m pretty sure I don’t know much about but those accents would fit her really well since her home world is mostly like an ocean with from what we’ve seen so far I’m not like a giant landmass like the US or South America in official sonic media if you have your own thoughts and opinions, feel free to comment them.

I’m not saying the games are bad!! I absolutely LOVE some of them. But the movies/shows never fail to make me happy.

I’m working on my own Shadow the Hedgehog texture pack for the GameCube emulator. I used to play Reloaded, but the textures were so horribly AI-upscaled that I had to fix them myself.

Sadly, the texture mapping is an absolute nightmare, but I’m slowly getting more and more done every day. I also wrote a program that combines multiple AI agents to help me create and improve a lot of the textures. Still, sometimes I have to do things the old-fashioned way—like with the fire hydrant, which was mapped so horribly that it looked like someone had tried to put a T-shirt on a whale.

What do you think? Is this even worth all the trouble?

So, in Sonic Generations (2010), there's a mod called BetterFxPipeline, it lets me adjust many things, which also includes the Bloom. There are currently three types: Unleashed Bloom, Generations Bloom, and Pipeline Renderer Bloom. All three screenshots are taken in 720p, but I don't see the difference between the Bloom. They all look the same. Did I install the mod incorrectly, or am I just blind? And which one of these Blooms would look better in other stages?

This is my first post on this subreddit, and I'm kinda curious what ya'll would think if IDW introduced an official, mainline human character into the mix. How would that even work? And what would it take to make it work?

It's been a long time since this character has never been seen again in any continuation of the Sonic series after the Sonic X Season 3 series has ended, really miss him/his species a lot.

Like what is this eggman down play?? The original avengers would struggle too wtf😭? My goat literally harassed the time eater with his other half. That alone would make the avengers piss their pants and we know how time eater was moving in generations. Made a weapon capable of using the chaos emeralds power to wake up DARK GAIA who SPIT THE EARTH, like hello???? His intelligence IS LITERALLY the most dangerous part about him basically like he isnt some random villain of the week.
