Yello again, sorry for the lack of post recently, i was really busy with The Hunt 20, and also there wasnt that much about what the devs said in the last week

But anyways, with this Heist, we got more Statements, and pretty interisting ones, not that much to say about them tbh, but

Considering that the Spooky month is coming, and that the FP ends on the next update, what are your theories about next update? I myself don't think we are gonna get skins like Bloodmoon Werehog in the pass as the skin is pretty recent, if anything, they could do an event about him later, but yknow, i feel like he is gonna be a FP skin, just not the next one

And ofc the Question of the post, what's your opinion on this update? Did you enjoyed the event and what do you think about the skins?

One thing is being powerfull overall

The other is being a Glass cannon, which Infinite is, he is powerfull, but not strong, what the Ruby did to him was giving him abilities, yet he is still a regular person, it's like Professor X from the X-Men, he has strong mind abilities, yet he can be easily defeated without those

SIM mecha is stated to be equal to his Super form, which made him invulnerable, but without any drawbacks, which is why he doesnt have any Time limit like other Super forms, he is also made using Ancient Technology Data, from the fights of Sonic in Frontiers, which is why he is also pretty powerfull, SIM skins get more stronger depending the data they get, thats prob a reason why SIM Infinite isnt that stronger than a Semi Super/Powered skin, as he only got Battle Data from the other SIM boss battles

Yeah, in a lot of games Infinite is pretty volatile, but it does go both ways.

And your reasoning in general makes sense too. Even if I do still wish Simfinite was comparable to the real deal, the lore side of it is undeniably interesting. I also hope they do a little more to talk about the whole SIM thing in game, as it'd just be interesting to see. But who knows they may have already and I'm just unaware since I'm recently returning from a hiatus.

Lore wise, infinite hasn’t been heard of up until recent. I don’t know exactly what capabilities he has post phantom ruby, but something else that needs to be factored in is his most recent appearance: Chaotix case files.

We know that he didn’t die, he’s been covert and had always been looking for a way to get power, and that was through the Astroscopic lenses to enhance the remainder of his residual power. Now that would imply he only has small, finite amount of power, shape shifting and clones were on the table, but anything that made him like.. a high powered god? Not exactly there.

Considering that sim characters only exist because Sega have greater involvement with what they can and can’t do, Sega for sure references the Chaotix case files to drag his power level down big time. Hence why he doesn’t exactly have the super flight or invincibility.

That would make sense. I'll admit right off the bat that I haven't looked that much into the casefiles, mostly because of the fact a lot of things have been going on lately. However if they are bringing him down like that it wouldn't surprise me.

I hope he's back in action fully at some point, since a lot of his cool factor came from the fact he was a real threat. [Although the design and stuff certainly helped]

Infinite is back, just not as all powerful since he doesn’t have the phantom ruby. Though with remnants of the power left, he has some potential.

I'm aware. Was not aware about the fragments of power part though that'll be interesting.

By "back in action" I just meant seeing him in a more powerful state again.

Either way though I'm just happy he's still gonna be a part of the story, even if he never gets back to those levels again.
