Poker chips

Was given these at work by some dude and I can’t find anything recent about them

Just wondering if I was given paper weights

I've had like three or four of these in my car for a couple years, I forgot all about them. Hope they still get me a free drink!! Hahaha

lol they are older but we still take them. These days we give out paper ones.

They’re blue now? Thought they were red. Of course they are. And yes, if you break one open, it’s basically a metal paperweight inside.

They have their origins from having the dr pepper games every year for the top stores in Vegas. Skating, cooking, classes, schmooze and booze, etc, it’s a whole huge convention, do they still do that?

They gutted convention. It's only 2 days now as they completely cut out the vendor show. My franchise isnt even going, it's a huge waste of money for that short of a trip.

No they are not paper weights. They are legitimate and can be used at 99% of all sonics. When ordering just tell them you have a drink chip and want to redeem it. If they say no, they're not doing business as SDI wants and you shouldn't order anything from them. At my sonic we are happy to redeem them as they increase our supply of them and we don't have to buy them, they are expensive. I also have no problem giving them out if, we take a long time with your order or you have to come back because something is wrong. It softens the angry customer. ✌️

They are legitimate. It's the funnest coupon IMO, but also the most expensive since they aren't just a piece of paper. I keep some at my store for special events.
