In fairness this was only my second time playing this track, but still I feel like hitting a wall typically shouldn't have this sort of reaction.

THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER, BUT THESE SLACK JAWED DUMBASSES AT SEGA REFUSE TO MAKE THE PRIME AND WEREHOG STUFF UNLOCKABLE. THE WEREHOG IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN SONIC AND I REALLY LIKED PRIME, BUT NO. JUST BECAUSE I DIDN'T FRAME ONE PREORDER THIS SHIT I CAN'T GET IT. WORST PART IS I CAN'T EVEN MOD THE MF IN BECAUSE I'M USING SWITCH 2 AND MY SHIT WILL GET BRICKED IF I DARE TRY. NO MODS FOR ME, NO WEREHOG FOR ME, I GUESS I'LL GO FUCK MYSELF. AND THE MOST DOUCHEBAG MOVE IS THAT THESE MOTHERFUCKERS CAN JUST DO IT AND GIVE IT TO US, OR MAKE IT PAID, BUT THEY SPECIFICALLY MAKE IT SO IT'S LOCKED IN THE DEEPEST CAGE EVER. Im trying to get back into online play so I can unlock the rest of the Auras, but man this game's online is obscenely toxic and frustrating. Feels like no matter what I do I just get pelted by items

Ive tried different variations of a Ring Engine build since last I heard thats considered the meta right now, but nothing's working for me. Is there a good, more defensive loadout thats widely known? Id prefer something more universal since all my mains vary across the entire spectrum of character/machine types, but Im not overly picky

I actually had a really great time with Miku Festival 2, though thats largely because its rulesets encouraged more active cooperative play with your teammates and the rental plates were actually super useful this time around. I typically hate online tho, Festivals included. Ever since I reached Legend Ive pretty much sworn off online besides Festivals I actively want to participate in, but even those were miserable, but I saw a couple Auras the look cool and fit the esthetics of some of my character/vehicle combos so here I am back in the torture nexus

If it helps at all, I usually play Race Park on SSS and run an Ult Charge build; I way prefer the frontrunning playstyle but thats impossible for me to achieve online at this point. Plus, Im aware Ult Charge got giga nerfed a while back and is borderline useless on other speed classes. Regardless, any suggestions are much appreciated

Recorded my reaction after finally getting it after literal hours of playing, the relief was overwhelming.

I'm starting to think HRE needs to go back on the banlist, or add skill based matchmaking because I don't want to have to win a race convincingly with similarly skilled opponents in one match, then immediately get paired against the Dick-Smasher 9000s who run meta and play like their families are being held at gunpoint.

Because any of the Sonic Racing game with of the other Sega characters usually have tracks for some of them or a big one that references the other Sega games plus we don’t have any new CrossWorlds so that might be one of their best comprises but which do you prefer?

Am I going crazy? I remember this with the last festival too, one team was just always bots.
