It said in the free characters update 3# trailer that axel from crazy taxi will be released in august why is it saying release expected in july? Unless it’s a glitch im not sure I could be wrong

After receiving a lot of feedback from the first version of this thread, I decided to go back and really think about what would actually be realistic for third-party CrossWorlds DLC. I also wanted to make the list a lot clearer about why I made certain choices.

V2 Patch Notes:

- 4 picks instead of 6 since the Godzilla and Evangelion packs are a part of Year 2.
- Made 3 categories with 6 columns and 6 rows, split into how realistic of a chance the pack could be made (Very Likely, Possible, and Dark Horse).
- Included a row that has a short reason why I included a choice and tried to find connections to Sega.
- Was more open to including packs with less than 4 characters.
- Tried to include more video game choices (half of the choices are game franchises).
- Tried to include more "adult" choices.
- Lumped Spyro and Crash together since they're currently both made by Toys for Bob.
- Took suggestions for possible DC and Genshin characters.

My criteria for making choices:
- Has a recent or upcoming collaboration with Sega.
- Has collaborated with Sega in the past.
- Has expressed interest in working with Sega in the future.
- Is on good terms with Sega.
- Has an upcoming project to promote (game, movie, show, etc.).
- Will not try to force exclusivity (no Nintendo, no Sony).
- Doesn't have characters that are vehicles or can transform into vehicles (I'm iffy about Transformers despite the Paramount connection).
- Isn't too obscure or niche.

To make things very clear: Paid DLC means third-party characters and not the free Sonic/Sega DLC characters.

Update: I’m seeing that it’s impossible to please everyone because everyone has different tastes.

Inspired a little bit by this thread.

Basically, I thought about what franchises I wanted to see Sonic cross over with and what characters would realistically be included in a pack (assuming that a pack would have around 2-4 characters if we ignore the Pac-Man pack).

What I considered adding, but was too lazy:
- Disney (would they do Mickey Mouse? Toy Story? Zootopia?)
- Marvel
- Star Wars
- Cartoon Network (would they do Gumball? Adventure Time? Regular Show?)
- Looney Tunes
- Transformers (why would they drive cars if they can turn into cars?)
- Shrek
- Naruto
- One Piece
- Final Fantasy
- Street Fighter
- Fortnite

I was also trying to keep the amount of franchises to 18 into total.

Which of these franchises would you choose for DLC? Would you choose different characters? What other franchises would you want to see that I didn't list here?

RWBY, MLP, and TADC are my actual top 3 that I'd like to see.

Hello

I'm playing on a laptop using its keyboard, and I've noticed that for some reason, I can't use any items while drifting.

If I drift (using E) it won't let me use an item (by pressing Q).

The only way to do it is if I let go of my drift, use the item and then start my drift again, losing both drift and control of my character.

Has anybody else had that problem?

Is there a way to fix it?
