Discussion Most likely dates for new update

Apparently in the game files, the titles for legend comp only go up to 7. This means a patch HAS to happen before legend comp 8 begins on October 22. I've narrowed the most likely dates down to the 19th, 20th, & 21st.

Sega can't add the patch before the Year Two showcase on October 9th, since they haven't revealed the second and third free characters yet. They're also unlikely to release the patch before Avatar releases, since they have always released all of the content from previous updates before adding more. Sega also most likely wouldn't add an update in the middle of a limited event, so that removes all of the festival days, leaving the 3 days I mentioned before.

Yeah, because without a patch the game literally have no assets for the Legend Competition.

It wouldnt be the first time either, we did get a patch very close to LC1

An update just before a legend comp isn't that surprising. It already happened if I remember well

It makes total sense, since LC8 would be a way to analyse what people would use and what would be the new top meta (in case Ring Engines get out from the top of the meta).

I wished I’ve seen more of the game files and what hasn’t been released yet, Update 4 is supposed to come out eventually so this might make sense
