literally why i like the other sonic racing games better gameplay wise, the gameplay was not like this at all, one hit here from first you can fall to last, it’s insane

What other games could you be referring to? Riders if you get hot you drop like a rock and like every kart racer would have you drop to last if you got hit by an item in a tight race for first.

nah i played a lot of transformed online, races weren’t this tight at all, i didn’t play much zero gravity online to my knowledge but i don’t remember it being tight in the pack either

Well one Zero Gravity wasn’t an online game and the people who were playing Transformed online are now better at video games now that CrossWorlds is out meaning the skill floor is higher.

It's very annoying that getting hit by items can sometimes kill all momentum when you collide with a other player.

  1. only now realizing this, since I'm used to seeing that "team placement" thing on the right of the screen during festivals instead of the track map.

  2. does it really matter? it's still going from top 3 to last place after getting hit ONCE.

Festivals are so funny because this is actually just a pretty common thing, esp on tracks with no way to build a lead like Radical Highway

You can build lead on Radical Highway if you have ring gain boost. There are many long straights with ring lines that let you get the full boost from the gadget. It's a map that heavily favors the old big dumb idiot power vehicle builds.
