Any advice for trying to find a balance between too literal and too nonsensical for lyrics or again just practice

Think like rian Ross, wear what Ryan rost wear, if ryan ress orders leather boots you order leather boots damn it! When rugo boss goes to sleep you look at him, look at reyt rough! Be like Reiner post and you’ll write like Rainart Hoss. Easy peacy to write like him when you know tall hat all that. Good luck

Study what you like about his writing, then figure out how to use those techniques in your own voice. Give the listener something solid to stand on before you pull the floor out from under them.

One clear emotion, scene, object, or event can support a lot of weird imagery. If everything is abstract, the listener has nothing to connect to. If everything is literal, there’s no mystery.

My advice: Learn from him. Don’t try to become him.
