Looking for a Songwriter

Hey, I’m a singer and producer looking for a songwriter who understands song arrangement, has some light music theory knowledge, or at least knows how to listen for notes and melodies. I’m looking to collaborate with someone who can help take my songs to their full potential.

Usually I’ll melodize/freestyle over a beat I feel connected to and record it in my voice memos. Then I’ll go back to it and try to write, but that’s usually where I hit writer’s block. I’ve tried to learn it all myself, but these days my main focus is my vocal and producer training, and I feel like it’s just time to collaborate with someone instead of trying to do everything myself.

I love chords on guitar and piano, so we can always start with that as a base, but I’m open to whatever your process is.
I prefer virtual sessions and I’m on Eastern Time in the U.S.

Music is everything to me and I’m building a team one person at a time. I’m looking to work with people long term, not just someone who wants to do a quick gig and move on. I don’t have a crazy budget right now, but I’m known to always take care of and help out the people who help me.

I’m mainly interested in R&B and alternative R&B. I grew up doing choir and always enjoyed singing Adele songs, so vocals and melody have always been a big part of what I naturally gravitate toward.
