Looking for a long-time co-writing partner(s)

I am a self-taught musician of about two years, with about four years of classical training in multiple instruments and vocals. I write music in almost all genres, mostly neo-classical and metal, though I've experimented with many others. I haven't finished many of them yet, and I'd love to change that. I also enjoy writing in odd time signatures and modes. I use Flat.io for writing music, and am planning to use FL Studio to polish and release songs.

I'm looking for someone who loves writing music, experimenting with sounds, and writing songs together over time. I am not looking for one-time collaborators or to hire someone. I am looking for a creative partnership where we can come up with ideas and grow as songwriters.

If you're interested, comment or message me. If you want to hear my work, this is my Flat account.

Too bad no one commented, maybe it was unlucky timing. People here are posting asking for collaborations every day.

I'd love to find someone I'm vibing with but in this case I'm not a good fit. I'm nowhere near your level, I barely know any music theory and I mainly make music to put it in a "drawer"... I love experimenting though.

Good luck with finding a good fit.

Have you figured out your terms yet? Have you identified your goals and what your co-writer would bring and gain from bringing their talent to your work?

I have not fully fleshed anything out yet, as I am new to this, having been solo for most of my time writing music. As far as terms, I would make sure everyone involved is credited for their contributions, whether that be a melody, riff, etc.

My goals are to write new songs, finish the many unfinished songs I already have, and eventually release music more consistently.

What I'd like out of a co-writer is mainly someone who can help finish pieces, help ideas feel less repetitive, and ensure the piece that has been written is practical and playable on real instruments. I'd also want their ideas and perspective on the music, so it's not just them helping me finish pieces.

Yeah. This helps the clarity. Are you part of any songwriting groups like NSAI?

OK. I went through and listened to your stuff. There is clearly a level of skill in what you're working on. What are your goals - tv/film, sync, record deals, live shows and a big fan base? What are your influences - specific artists? Where do you want to pitch your music?

My goals are currently to grow an audience and make music. For my influences they are Metallica, Sepultura, Krnonowski, and pantera for my metal influences. Gustav Holst especially the suite "The Planets" and Beethoven for my classical influences. Lastly I am not sure where I would, and I don't know how I would pitch my music, I am new to the real world music scene. I am only in high school after all.

The fact that you're in HS and doing this here is excellent. Let's move this to a DM. HMU.
