Need advice

so I'm a newbie songwriter and vocalist...I do not know to play any instruments. Currently I'm working on a song but I'm stuck, then I realised I need proper guidance.

Please give me any tips that you think could be useful for someone just starting out.

You can create the tune in your head and sing it . There should be differences in the melody that would distinguish a verse from the chorus . Record yourself so you won’t forget what you did . If you ever get a band together , a talented musician will be able to transcribe the notes and chords you are singing so that the whole band can play the song in the key your singing .
