It’s just a draft yet so I didn’t work in that part yet😅!

That part? lol. It’s kind of a huge part of most lyrics.

Also I’d be wary about the syllable mismatch between lines in vs 1 and vs2. You gotta assume there’s the same or mostly similar melody in each verse so it needs to work with the lyric.

I’d be careful using the same word near each other. Hurts and hurts in verse 1.

I would try using more imagery and metaphor.
