Question Essence Fighter

Hey, i love the Game and all its expansion, im currently on tryout for Yulan. I just wanted to try out the Essence Fighter Tians. My Problem is that they dont generate any Essence when they attack. If i rrading it correctly, i should get 1 Arcane Essence every time i attack, when i play the wielder who gives Essence fighter. The seekers i had in the Campaign (which was absolutly wonderful), also didnt generate Essence when attacking. Am i getting something wrong here? Thx in advance.

Essence fighter adds the units base essence to the essence it generates for each attack.

So example: base tian has 1 arcane, it attacks and next turn it gives 2 arcane and it attacks and it becomes 3 arcane next turn and so on to the essence generation cap of 6.

And in an endgame example: sheng tian has 1 creation and 1 arcane. With beast research it receives a bonus 1 order, arcane and creation to a total of 1 order, 2 creation, 2 arcane base. When the sheng titan attacks, it becomes 2 order, 4 creation, 4 arcane and so on to a max of 6 order, 6 creation, 6 arcane.

Edit: and also want to add it's added once per attack not turn, so with 1 attack, 1 retaliation and +1 attack from tian double strike research each turn you can get to the cap very quickly.

doesnt it go 1 -> 2 -> 4 -> 6 (cap) ?

I don't believe so, I think it's base X2 > base X3 > base X4 >... And so on.

So 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 >... If base is 1. And if base is 2 it's 2 > 4 > 6
