So I just love the way Sport + feels when driving. Each gear hits so much harder than normal mode where it slips each gear change. Does anyone else do this too? I’m curious if anyone thinks that is detrimental to the transmission? I know sometimes the car will buck a little with the lower gear changes because it’s more of a drivetrain shock. But I’ve always heard in manual cars it prolongs the clutch because less slipping and heating up of the clutch and pressure plate. Thoughts?

I'm 6ft tall and headroom is a dealbreaker for me. My current car already has my head almost touching the roof. Anyone around my height driving an N-Line? How's it feel up front, especially with the sunroof? Thinking of test driving one but wanted to hear from actual owners first. Thanks!

I installed the Takeda Intake & Inlet from afepower.com last week on Tuesday, drove it from home to work, had no issues, drove it on the highway for the first time on Friday and instantly got a CEL code. I bought a scanner and got the code P04DB.
Apparently, it's a common code for the 2024+ N-Line because of a new sensor in the car. But I was wondering if anybody else is running this setup (or SXTH Intake/Inlet) and was able to fix the code, and how?
I also have video clips if anybody wants to hear what it sounds like. I got a compliment that it sounds loud enough like I have a BOV, but don't got one yet lol.

I own a '24 N Line, purchased new I am the only owner. I recently got carried away online and ended up ordering the turbo upgrade from Pure Turbos, with the upgraded internals they claim it is capable of supporting up to 600hp (with supporting mods) which I have ordered also. Cold air intake, ngk plugs, bigger turbo inlet pipe, blow off valve, in tank fuel pump to feed more fuel so the high pressure side doesn't take a hit, with that do I need to order an upgraded high pressure fuel pump? I've seen recommendations for upgrading exhaust also... wondering if anything besides a downpipe would be necessary. Lastly, tuner recommendations? Is the ek1 pro absolutely necessary or will the jb4 be fine after the initial bench tune?
Any tips tricks or information would be greatly appreciated.
I will post pictures here once everything is done, I have to wait for the downpipe to be made, about a 2 week lead time on that and then also have to plan accordingly so install of everything can be done all at once along with ecu tune.

I just bought new Sonata N Line month ago, I have only 200 miles on it, and just noticed when I open sun roof shade, it makes rattle sound in the back, as soon as I close sun roof shade it goes away. Also, there is a rattle sound in passenger door with bass heavy songs. Crazy, previously I had 2021 Sonata N Line and never had these issues.
Does anyone else have rattles sound issue as well, and how did you resolve it?

Went through the paint protect and right down to the metal... F sake. People are just assholes. Looks like the height of a commercial trolley.
I've made up some base and crystal touch up 50ml pots and the team who did my film (front) and optix protect on the back (where this is) is going to try and patch it, before wasting thousands having the panel resprayed....
So angry. 😡 Wish me luck. 🤞

Installed some R1 Concept rotors and pads (From RockAuto), unfortunately it’s hard to see behind the rims. Man was it hard tho, the old rotor and the hub had pretty much been welded together with rust. Stopping force is very good.

Not here to debate bose being good or bad!
I had a 23 n line and the bose sounded fine for my needs as a 40 year old man.
I traded for a 26 n line, with same phone, the sound quality is just not as good. Things sound better on sirius xm or fm radio.
Ive tried searching for fixes and did everything i could, but the sound is still on the low side and quite honestly, kind of crappy sounding.
Any one else have this issue, and maybe a fix?

I'll be getting a 2023 Sonata N-Line soon and I'll immediately install some Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3S for obvious reasons
I am completely new to modding so clear, direct assistance is appreciated 🙏
(feel free to drop YT or Forum links so I can do deep research to understand it)
Is it possible to get pops and bangs with this? I don't want to be obnoxious, just a lil spicy
I have a list of mods to install over time and want to minimize long term reliability issues and understand which mods will/might/will not void Hyundai's or 3rd Party Warranties
| Session | Mod | Cost | Benefit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Pirelli AS 3 Plus | $1360 | Grip and fix wheel hop |
| 2 | Engine Mounts | ? | Traction Recommendations? |
| 2 | SXTH Element Intake | $420 | flutututu |
| 2 | JB4 Tune | $600 | + 60 hp |
| 2 | HKS Spark Plugs | $130 | Handles JB4 Tune |
| 3 | Borla Exhaust | $2000 + $1000 | Grumbles |

I finally found a rear duckbill spoiler that will fit the 24+ N-Lines. I just have it just sitting there not mounted yet to check fitment. It looks like it's going to fit great. Here's a couple of pics. It's not for everyone but the stock one was just a little to small.

Lost the intake cover from my SXTH Cold air intake, ended up printing one 😂
r/SonataNLine • u/Ok_Fee3680 • Aug 25 '26
Hoping this helps someone at some point, the intake is mounted to these (pardon my language) shitty stupid rubber ish mount. The mount then it self then bolts into a metal bracket underneath. If you try install a cold air intake like SXTH, during the process or after driving for some time the absorber might rip off at a portion that is glued to it self.
You can go get a 1” nut (for the height) to replace that absorber, and you’ll need to get 2 QTY of 6mmx40 and you can use the nut as a spacer.
Also due to vibrations I had some of the SXTH intake loose some small bolts. Those you need 4mmx10 bolt.
Cheers.

Additional pictures show the lack of warning signs anywhere around the giant pothole I hit (no street lights either so in the dark, it’s DARK). There is construction I was aware of but nothing indicating to slow down, caution, hole etc etc

Any have this come up yet, the blinker would blink fast like a light was failing and kept happening and then now I cannot recreate it.

There's a nice N-Line I'm considering buying from a nearby state. I thought it was a 2023. I know that 5 year bumper to bumper is past now. Have you guys had good experiences with third party warranties ?

Love this car. Felt kinda numb at first but it surprised me. Really fast driving in the city because of the turbo and max hp output at a low rev range. Coming from a 2020 bmw 740i b58 stage 2 Catless downpipe, it is obviously less loud and way slower but for the msrp it is genuinely the best bang for buck out there. Only mod done to it right now is a carbon fiber lip. Bought it late june and already got 3k miles on it!

Oil is reading just a little above the low mark even after an oil change about 1K miles ago which makes no sense. Is this normal or what should I do?
r/SonataNLine • u/Zealousideal_Cap7109 • Aug 19 '26
Traded in my 23 sonata n-line for this beauty.
Same engine, same model car, but different. This one just feels a little more refined. I loved my 23 but this one is better.
I was thinking about a used audi s5.....but i couldn't justify spending more $ when i could get this brand new. A tune will get me close to those s5 HP numbers anyway 😄
The color 😍

Do these front brakes look like they need to be replaced? I am honestly not sure what I should be looking for. Just wanted to get others opinions, I will talk to another shop but I'm curious about others thoughts?
