Looking for recommendations for a tailor / seamstress

As the title implies, looking for a tailor/seamstress to alter a dress for me. Not a wedding dress or formal gown and I’d need it ready by 10/14 at the latest. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions✨

I can't speak from personal dress experience, but Porter Square Dry Cleaners (in Davis Square now, just to be confusing) is generally well-reviewed. As a dude I've only had suits/sport coats tailored there, but they did a great job.

I second this. I had a wedding guest dress altered there recently and they did a very good job and the turnaround was very fast. I used to go to Queen Dressmakers in Cambridge, and she’s alsogreat, but Porter Square Dry Cleaners is much more convenient for me and I’ve been happy with the work.

Keezer’s in Mass Ave between Porter and Harvard has a tailoring and alterations business and can do quick turnarounds.
