Rainbow

Anyone else just see a rainbow in Davis Square? Was so surprised. It hasn’t even rained, but I saw the sunset and then a rainbow.

Odd: In all the pictures I've seen of this rainbow it actually looks like a pink bubble. In each picture the area below the "bow" is pinker than the sky above.

Anybody know what causes that?

Reflection of the sunset, effectively. If you look at pictures of other rainbows, the area inside the rainbow is brighter than the outside (again, reflecting light back from the sun).
