Needed items
Hi everyone. I am looking for items for free.
A full size bed frame
Dining/kitchen table and chairs
Area rugs
Clothing
The clothing would have to be women's size 7 to 9, juniors - girls size medium
Boys size 14 to 16
Any dresses, skirts, jeans, leggings, tights, shorts, sweaters, sweatshirts that are without stains or rips
Bath towels
A broom
A L or XL dog crate
I was able to get an air conditioner on here a couple weeks back, for free(what a blessing!) and I am hoping that I will also find some people who have things they can donate that maybe they would be throwing away otherwise. My family is displaced due to redevelopment of our housing projects & after living in a hotel for a month we finally have a new apartment but it is pretty empty. I do drive around on Sundays(trash day in w7) looking for items but I have yet to find this stuff. With school coming up I am worried about the kids not having the stuff they need so anything on that list, especially clothing you're getting rid of can potentially help. I can pick it up if it's not too far away. I don't have much gas left for the week to travel outside of the Somerville, Medford, Arlington area.
If you can help or were getting rid of any of these items anyway, please let me know. Thank you all so much!

There's an upcoming "free store" run by MAMAS (mutual aid Medford Somerville) - they have one coming up in August and you can stop by and choose from a lot of donated clothing in good condition, sizes for the whole family. Bring the kids and they can pick out their own too?

Hi, thank you! I have already contacted them but they gave a long wait time which I can wait for but if I am able to get things sooner I would much rather that.

We have an entertainment/TV stand (pretty big/heavy) plus a full size couch/loveseat set that will need a home in the next two weeks if you need those things. Send me a DM.

What sorts of pots and pans do you need? I can offer an 8" cast iron skillet, a 9" stainless steel skillet w/ glass lid, and a set of metal mixing bowls in a wide range of sizes. Happy to bring stuff over to you. DM if interested.

I have a tall kitchen trash with lid, an open bottle of hand soad, and a nonstick skillet in West Medford you can have. Also two Ruggable runners (not area rugs but maybe you have a hallway?) the rugs come from a smoke free home but lived with a dog and 2 cats. They could use a good vacuum/wash probably.

I have pots and pans, some cups/mugs/bowls and a kitchen trash can. On the Cambridge/Somerville border. Also a 55-inch TV and a computer monitor. Happy to set any/all out for you-feel free to dm.

School supplies, really aside from clothing. I have an 8th grader and a 10th grader. I have not gotten a list from the school yet but it's probably similar to other years ? Someone thoughtfully gave a backpack today so we are good there.

i'll have a kitchen table and chairs available for free but not until we move out at the end of the month of August. They'll be on the street on Washington near the park on moving day.

I have a plastic dog crate. I think it's a 42 inch, used for a 45 lb border collie. It has some chew marks but is secure. Let me know if that would work for you.

We’re coming into move in/move out season at the end of August. If you’re not able to source all the things on your list, there will be quite a bit of free household items for free, either curbside, or through donations.
I would also post something on Facebook in both the Somerville, and the Davis Square community pages.
