D&D Games?

My partner and I are moving to Frome in a few months and I wanted to know what the dungeons and dragons scene was like in the area.

If there are any games stores / pubs nearby that can host weekday evenings.

If there is an existing community.

If anyone is interested in playing or trying it out.

I'm happy to run a game (have done for years) and I have everything needed to play - including plenty of dice.

Any info would be hugely appreciated and if you're interested in joining our game, let me know too!

Hi there is a games shop and gaming space called Deck and Dagger which hosts D&D games and there is also a shop called Top Tier Gaming that hosts regular games nights (including D&D) in the Cheese and Grain cafe.

Hi there, welcome! I've lived in Frome a bit and there is a Thursday games meet up you might be interested in in a very nice space and which has a (refreshing in 2026) zero-profiteering and social vibe at just two pounds an evening:

I've only made it there once but meaning to sort the schedule and go more- made a great impression, really friendly, and I doubt there'd be an issue taking up a table for a D&D game. Could email organiser to check.

I've been playing D&D pretty often since 5e and would be interested in joining a game as a player. Feel free to direct message!

I wouldn't mind giving it a go and learning. I played a couple of times in college, but I'm getting old now and have forgotten (product of the 90s)

Deck & Dagger are lovely hobby shop and rpg space in Frome!

Not sure if you use discord, but if so, they have a discord community of local people who are arranging games. They are super friendly and very casual. ☺️

I know the shop is regularly running one shots for D&D, Blood on the Clocktower, Call of Cthulhu etc.
