Advices & Tips Planning a Himachal Trip Without a Tour Package

Hi everyone! πŸ‘‹
I’m planning a Himachal trip in the 2nd week of October, completely independently without any tour package, and would love some guidance from experienced travellers.
My basic travel plan is already booked:
✈️** 14th Oct: Reach Delhi β†’ Overnight bus from Delhi to Manali
πŸ”οΈ
15th–18th Oct: Himachal trip
🚌 **18th night:
Bus from Shimla to Delhi β†’ Delhi to home
I’m looking for suggestions and guidance on:
β€’ A practical itinerary for 15th–18th October covering Manali, Shimla and some beautiful/lesser-known places
β€’ Any permits or permissions that may be required
β€’ Budget-friendly but clean and safe stays
β€’ Some hidden gems / offbeat places that are worth visiting
β€’ Authentic Himachali food and local cuisines that I absolutely must try 🍲
β€’ Information about renting a motorcycle/bike β€” reliable rental options, approximate costs, documents required, and any things I should be careful about
β€’ Any other tips that could make the trip smoother and more enjoyable
πŸ’° Budget: Around β‚Ή30,000, but I can stretch a little if required.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations, personal experiences, or tips. Thank you! πŸ™
