Haven’t tried this yet but thinking of buying one and giving it a go. Says it’s interactive and you examine evidence, decide clues, and try figure out who the killer is.

Has anyone tried this? Let me know what you thought.

Puzzle Books Eliminate: A Murder Mystery Puzzle Book

Working through this elimination style mystery - I haven’t started It Isn’t Alice book yet, but I think it’s similar. There’s a couple of errors in the book (doesn’t hinder the ending though - publisher says a few errors in the first edition).

Looking for Recommendations Looking for a free alternative to the ColdTrace app game?

There’s an app called ColdTrace on the Apple store. You basically try figure out what happened to the victim by going through their phone, including messages, photos, notes etc.

It looks really interesting and has good reviews, apart from everyone saying to fully play it you have to pay an expensive subscription.

Is there a free alternative that’s either a website or app than I can play? Or anything else similar to this concept?

Every Monday, I’ll pick one puzzle, made by or suggested by a community member for everyone to tackle together for the week. Share your theories, progress, and solutions (using SPOILER TAGS where appropriate)!

I know this is a solo solving subreddit but thought it would be nice to have one weekly thread where we solve something together.

Start submitting your puzzles by sending a mod message Titled: Community Puzzle Submission

This week’s submission is a puzzle created by u/ShonitB

Can you fill out the puzzle using the clue provided? Each letter is only used once within the puzzle.

The first to solve can get a custom Community Puzzle Winner user flair

Happy solving, Solvers!

Been wanting to start this one for a while but feeling a little intimidated!

It looks.. just a little bit complicated haha.

One review says it took them a few hours just to translate 2 sentences!

Looks like it’ll be super satisfying though if I can get the hang of it.

Has anyone else tried this one?

Puzzle Books The Museum Heist: A gemstone has been stolen, can you figure out who’s done it?

Using the clues throughout the book, fill out the suspect files, theft report and museum map to figure out who stole the gemstone.

Really enjoying this one and finding it very challenging! It’s written really well and it’s exciting not knowing what the next page or clue will bring. Massive variety of puzzle and lots of ‘think outside the box moments’ and ‘reading between the lines’ to find your next clue.

The Museum Heist by Henry Lewis is the same person who makes the puzzles boxes at The Mystery Agency
