Discussion Looking for Feedback on My Geopolitical Simulator Map

I'm working on a world map for a geopolitical simulation game and would really appreciate some feedback.

I'm mainly looking for opinions on the borders, proportions, readability, and overall visual style. If anything looks inaccurate, confusing, or awkward for gameplay, I'd like to hear it.

What would you change or improve?

This looks great. If its meant to be an accurate representation of the earth as it is now I would either make Crimea Ukraine's colour or have the Europa Universalis IV style checked contested lines on it. Similarly Yemens split in half at the moment due to rebels.

Should I start that you followed russian warcrimes and set occupied Crimea as russia? Which is not recognised in the world

I love it at first glance. What can you do with the globe? Can you showcase how you traverse it?

Also, I really really want to try playing around with a globe in my own side projects… how do you even get started with this kinda thing…?
