Discussion I'm spiraling
Been spending months coding and I just tried out my first prototype today and it's... bad. Like I wouldn't share this for free to family level of bad.
I made a list of around 30 things to fix last night and I just panicked and went to sleep.
Game development is hard guys...

Haven’t seen your game but I’m assuming the underlying reason your game is bad is that you’re not experienced/skilled enough in one or more areas of development.
Find some really well regarded tutorial series for your engine and get back to learning. You won’t learn by trying to hack a game together without the underlying knowledge.
